In the interview with him in the programme yesterday, he said that he heard there was interest in him towards the end of the transfer window but, because he wanted to stay here so badly, he turned his phone off on the last day to make sure he couldn't get any offers.

He also says he loves the club and the area. All this would explain why he seems to hungry and enthusiastic. Love to hear this kind of thing.

Does make the decision to sign Forecast a little strange though.
