hamster Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 Soz Dog that won;t open where I am right now, I shall assume it to be hilariously funny or scary as hell. Here is a lovely little game where you get to play with your very own spider. Click the 'options' (top right) and you can change the size of all his/hers attributes and feed the little cutey. I love it: http://www.onemotion.com:80/flash/spider/ Drag it around by it's legs, feed it by hitting the space bar and generally tease it to your hearts content.
Red Alert Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 (edited) Typical - Australia. Was that place created with every single nasty thing in it? If the snakes/scorpions/spiders/bush fires/sharks/jellyfish/heat/barbequed seafood doesn't kill you, you just end up in a country full of Australians Edited 25 January, 2010 by Red Alert

hamster Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 My Grandson watched it through his fingers, jumped and shook, then laughed as his Nan shat herself. Triple funny, well done. Now just need to try NOT to think of spiders as I try to sleep tonight.
bpsaint Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 ****ing hate spiders, yet still feel compelled to look at things like this out of curiosity.

skintsaint Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 its only a huntsman, harmless and actually practical to have round the house as it kills all the small bugs etc. Freaks you out first time you see one though.

Oh yeah...try convincing the good lady wife that a huntsman is almost domesticated. She is from the "Mr Spider meet Mr Shoe" school of thought. I have heard that they jump - is there any truth in that?
Liquidshokk Posted 27 January, 2010 Posted 27 January, 2010 Does the theory that you swallow 50 spiders in your lifetime whilst asleep apply in australia? You'd struggle to miss one of those going down your throat even in a deep sleep

I killed one of those in Tasmania thinking it was a nasty bugger. I regretted it when I found out it was harmless. It was big though....
