Baj Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 A friend asked me if I knew what a fair price was for tiling a bathroom, and I must admit I have no idea, so thought i'd ask on here. The bathroom is a typical square bathroom about 8ft by 8ft, but not sure how much she wants doing, im assuming all around bath and sink area, so at least 3 side of the room. Anyone got any idea? stevegrant Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 For supply and fit, probably about £150-200 or so, I guess.
Give it to Ron Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 We had 2 quotes recently for our en-suite about the same size between £300-350 including grout etc.

Dog Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 £200 a day labour.
sotonjoe Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 If it's floow to ceiling it would be about £350. Work down from there depending on how much / litte you're doing.
sotonjoe Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 For supply and fit, probably about £150-200 or so, I guess. Only if you're buying 'cheap' tiles and tiling a very small area.

Whitey Grandad Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 The last time that I had some done it was around £20 per square metre for the labour. Tiles were extra but cement & grout was included.

Special K Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Depends on the tiles, but allow up to £25/m2 for labour for an average layout, with materials dependant upon choice.
Ponty Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Seriously, Baj, why not do it for her? It's hardly rocket science and it's certainly not worth paying someone £300 for. It's a day's work and it's like doing a very simple jigsaw.
Baj Posted 25 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 25 January, 2010 because i get to see her about once a week and im ****ed if im spending all day laying tiles when i could be laying her.
