Is this some kind of Record in five rounds we have drawn

Portsmouth Premier League

Ipswich Coca Cola Championship

Bristol Rovers League 1

Northampton League 2

Luton Town Conference

Perhaps we can beat one from each of the different leagues in one season very difficult to do I would have thought

Also there is a bit of a theme emerging here, in the same way as our last Cup Final run in 2003. Back then it was creatures ...

Spurs - ****erels, Millwall - Lions, Norwich - Canaries, Wolves, Watford - Hornets. Unfortunately we got shot down by The Gunners

This time we have Occupations ...

Bristol Rvrs - Pirates (or Gas Heads!!), Northampton - Cobblers, Luton - Hatters, Ipswich - Tractor Boys and now Fish fiddling gypsies, tramps and thieves :p

On a similar topic, when was the last time we had this many cup games in a season? my guess is 1992 when we got to ZDS cup final and FA Cup 1/4 final (with lots of replays on the way)

So far we have :

Carling Cup

Northampton

Birmingham

JPT

Torquay

Charlton

Norwich

MK Dons away

MK Dons home

FA Cup

Bristol Rovers

Northampton

Luton

Ipswich

Pompey

if we get through against MK and the skates that would take us up to 60 games for this season!!

On a similar theme (was going to start a new thread but can't.)

If we beat MKD will we also set a new record as the ONLY team ever to have played in ALL five domestic professional finals ?

FA Cup

League Cup

Charity Shield

Zenith Data Systems /Simod Whatever other names it had Cup

Johnstones Paint / LDV / Football League/ Whatever other names it had Trophy

ST holders will have gotten excellent value for money this season then! I wish I could have joined in and bought one.

And most of these at home! Great that the fans have had the chance to show the new owners their passion, and that they have responded by investing the extra gate money back in the playing staff.
