StuRomseySaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Please can you make our ticket prices a quid and charge the skates £50 each Mr Cortese? That would make me lol.

Thedelldays Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 could wipe out so much of the 5 years of saints pain by beating these...it really would
daveygwyatt Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 na play it behind closed doors, then the skates get a bit fat £0 in gate reciepts
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 could wipe out so much of the 5 years of saints pain by beating these...it really would Isn't it great that we are all united in the effort against a common enemy
Amesbury Saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 na play it behind closed doors, then the skates get a bit fat £0 in gate reciepts all the gate reecipts will be spent on policing
St Marco Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Please let those of us who went to the other cup games get priority
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Please let those of us who went to the other cup games get priority STHs first obviously
The Fat Controller Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 make ticket prices cheap as possible (fA minimum)as they will only get 1/3rd gate receipts and the police bill will be huge.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 People from Glasgow should get priority tickets imo
St Marco Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 STHs first obviously Yeah, or better yet, make those who have ST AND went to the cup games allowed 3 tickets!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 People from Glasgow should get priority tickets imo I thought people from Glasgow were watching it on sky:D
homesick-saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 well, people from Glasgow and Ayr, anyway
Arizona Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 well, people from Glasgow and Ayr, anyway I'll drink to that.
SFC Forever Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 What we need to do is make sure our yoof don't decide to make this a double revenge mission.
Thedelldays Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 yoof..? lets see them gob off with this lot coming....
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 yoof..? lets see them gob off with this lot coming.... Indeed. Forget Millwall, Leeds etc. if there is one game from a Saints point of view where you are likely to get your head kicked in, it's this one. I hope security see sense and lock the away fans in rather than doing that stupid f*cking "no access to the north car park" thing.
exit2 Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 yoof..? lets see them gob off with this lot coming.... LOL Had the same conversation with a mate of mine who is a copper
Legod Third Coming Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Playing Lallana, Mills and James is a must. They get this big time.
Leicestersaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 This is THE big one is recent time - we must all make sure that all our team are up for it.

Most of the "Yoof" were still half fare on the bus last time we played them, gobbing off at a few Southend fans is one thing ...
Thedelldays Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 just thinking who they will have.. Yebda, Belhadj, Dindane, Utaka, Boateng.. um.....err, sh1t.....we may not win this one
oxfordshire_saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Playing Lallana, Mills and James is a must. They get this big time. Is this a good or a bad thing though? Could make them more nervous, might lose their heads. People like Wotton and Harding who aren't Saints born and bred but give 100% every time are probably more useful.

View From The Top Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 yoof..? lets see them gob off with this lot coming.... This game will bring everyone out, it has the potential to be chaos, especially as the skates are still smarting from getting a hiding before the fizzy pop game at SMS.
Toomer Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 AP, NC and ML freedom of the city if (when) we win.
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Playing Lallana, Mills and James is a must. They get this big time. Lol. Last year Lallana said he would be off to Skatesmouth straight away if they offered him a half decent wage.
gary r Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 just thinking who they will have.. Yebda, Belhadj, Dindane, Utaka, Boateng.. um.....err, sh1t.....we may not win this one as long as we give them a good game thats all that matters

EastleighSoulBoy Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Isn't it great that we are all united in the effort against a common enemy I get the feeling that we have generally been united since Mr Liebherr stepped out as the new owner?
oxfordshire_saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Nah, why do you think Rafa always picks Carra and Gerard for the derby? At the moment I would look at what Rafa does, then do the opposite.
Legod Third Coming Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 At the moment I would look at what Rafa does, then do the opposite. Lol, they do have a good record against the other side of Stanley Park though...mind you plenty of cards if memory serves!!
Honk Kong Phooey Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Mr Cortese. You may not be aware but the P*mpey Idiot with a bell is banned from St Marys for P*ssing on the seats last time he was there. Please make sure the ban is still in place!!!!!!!
oxfordshire_saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Lol, they do have a good record against the other side of Stanley Park though...mind you plenty of cards if memory serves!! True, although Gerrard is a special case, he delivers when it matters. As it happens, Lallana and James will probably play on merit, not the fact that they came through the youth system. Not sure about Mills, has done well the last couple of games but I rate Harding. I can see us employing a 5 man midfield of James, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Wotton and Lallana behind Rickie.
Fuengirola Saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 indeed....lets say we get a draw and go back to fratton...replays are usually midweek games... ffs, that would be awful...I wonder what the "yoof" would do down goldsmith ave... not a nice place Whats with all this bigging up Pompeys mob? They are not some super hard firm, they are more or less the same as us, if anything Saints have been more active in recent years

I think we play better 4-5-1 full stop, with Antonio or Papa causing havoc from the bench... I think Mills could turn out to be a very good left back. I thought he was excellent on Saturday when he settled but I agree Harding is current first choice - mind you we will need to rotate players that week.

Agree about Antonio and Papa, can come either way, if we're winning and need a pacy outlet one of them is useful, if we're losing and chasing the game then chuck both on and get in behind them.
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Don't believe that for a minute - where did he say that? In the bogs at Oceana. He was talking about Cranie at the time and said if he was given a half decent wage he would go there.
