dubai_phil Posted 18 September, 2008 Author Share Posted 18 September, 2008 OMG another one - Scooby is called as a witness in a French murder trial. This planet is going to the dogs! http://uk.news.yahoo.com/skynews/20080911/twl-murder-trial-calls-dog-as-witness-3fd0ae9.html Scooby will give evidence as he is believed to have been with his 59-year-old owner when she was found hanging from the ceiling of her Paris flat. Police believe the death was suicide, but her family cry murder - and the only witness to see the alleged crime is on four legs.

Arizona is not redneck land. That would be the "South", as opposed to SW - states like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, the Carolinas, oh and Georgia. After all the Middle East is like one big country full of Arabs isn't it?:-) and yes I know I saw the Top Gear episode:-)
Arizona Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 Arizona is not redneck land. That would be the "South", as opposed to SW - states like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, the Carolinas, oh and Georgia. HTH Indeed. Think more "Wild West" than Rednecks. Arizona is more like Texas or Nevada, neither of which are particularly redneck areas. Scottsdale is also a really nice part of Phoenix, or at least that's where the best nightlife is to be had. Ok so we're clear there are no rednecks in Arizona then. Phew, that's a relief no need to DHL any KY gel then
Matthew Le God Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 The dog quite clearly didn't make the call. The owner made it during his attack and then passed out and all the operator could here was the dog.

Evil Monkey Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 What puzzles me, is why instead of buying a specially trained dog, the owner didnt just take the course himself. Cheaper in the long run IMO.
