hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I will pay double face value for a match day FA cup ticket in the Northam. Trains were delayed for Ipswich so couldn't go to that and no season ticket either.
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I have a ST so shouldn't have any trouble. I'd save your offers for AFTER ticket sales have been announced though
Johnny Shearer Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Will not half the Northam be allocated to other seats as the skates will most likely take up their full allocation of seats?
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Will not half the Northam be allocated to other seats as the skates will most likely take up their full allocation of seats? Hopefully we give them minimum allocation.
Thedelldays Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 last time we played them in the cup..it was around 28k...due to the very restricted sellings...no walk ups or anything they had around 4k fans...and crouch got us a winner in the last min...sweet
Johnny Shearer Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Ha you just know all their fans will come out of the woodwork for this match!
dronskisaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Hopefully we give them minimum allocation. Is there a minimum away team percentage that the FA stipulate for a 5th round tie anyone know?
Nexstar Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Hopefully we give them minimum allocation. FA Cup minimum is 15%, they'll take the Northam and about 4,000 fans.
Saintjersey Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I will pay double face value for a match day FA cup ticket in the Northam. Trains were delayed for Ipswich so couldn't go to that and no season ticket either. I was the same, I was meant to be in the Northam but only saw the last 30 minutes of the game and had to sit in the Itchen.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 They will have the extra block - 42 as theirs, so make sure you take your disinfectant for the game after!
JonnyLove Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 FA Cup minimum is 15%, they'll take the Northam and about 4,000 fans. Going on their attendances this year I doubt they will bring that many
Appy Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 FA Cup minimum is 15%, they'll take the Northam and about 4,000 fans. Fairly sure the police can change that.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 My seat in block 41 will be a stones throw away from the pompey fans. Can't wait!
dubai_phil Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Hypo... One idea - try for Hospitality. Costs a bucket but you do the game in style and should be able to jump ahead of the ST holders. Not sure it will work but good way to get in early and guarantee a ticket.
saint.tom.clancy Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 They will definately take the full allocation, However there will probably be a a block closed either side so to keep fans apart?
derry Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Season ticket holders will get at least a week to reserve their seats or an unbooked alternative before general sale.
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Season ticket holders will get at least a week to reserve their seats or an unbooked alternative before general sale. Confirmed or just what you think?
SparkySaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 My seat in block 41 will be a stones throw away from the pompey fans. Can't wait! Thats fighting talk
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 But as I am not a season ticket holder I cannot do that, If any season ticket holder can not make the game then please PM me. I had a season ticket last year but could not afford one. I will do pretty much anything to acquire a ticket (within reason.) Help out a fellow saints fan (especially to all those on here I have helped over the years)

Scudamore Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I will pay double face value for a match day FA cup ticket in the Northam. Trains were delayed for Ipswich so couldn't go to that and no season ticket either. That may have been due to some nobhead throwing themselves in front of a train at Pokesdown. Sitting on the train with a bottle of beer only to find out i had to drive to the f::cking game and forego my matchday drinking did not get the day off to a good start!
Block 5 Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 So what do we think? 2 tickets per ST holder = 24k + 4k poopey + 4k general sale? Or 1 ticket per ST holder = 12k + 4k poopey = 16k general sale?
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 2 per season ticket I hope, wouldn't want my dad to miss this one.
derry Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Confirmed or just what you think? It always happens for big games.
Block 5 Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 That may have been due to some nobhead throwing himself in front of a train at Pokesdown. If I lived in Pokesdown I'd probably do the same....
Andy_Porter Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 2 per season ticket I hope, wouldn't want my dad to miss this one. Yeah will probably be the same ticket setup as it was for last years united game.
Scudamore Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 If I lived in Pokesdown I'd probably do the same.... But it's so close to the delightful Boscombe if you want to go for a nice walk down smack alley...
jawillwill Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Just to let people know I will pay £1 more for a ticket than anything Hypocondriac offers you. Maybe even £2. (Not really)
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 Hypo... One idea - try for Hospitality. Costs a bucket but you do the game in style and should be able to jump ahead of the ST holders. Not sure it will work but good way to get in early and guarantee a ticket. Cheers Phil. Worst case scenario I'll be buying a half season ticket to get to the game. I HAVE to get there.
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 That may have been due to some nobhead throwing themselves in front of a train at Pokesdown. Sitting on the train with a bottle of beer only to find out i had to drive to the f::cking game and forego my matchday drinking did not get the day off to a good start! Yep that was it. Missed the game and pi**ed me off.
saintjinksie Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 FA Cup minimum is 15%, they'll take the Northam and about 4,000 fans. its more like 5000 isnt it? 15% is 4800
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 its more like 5000 isnt it? 15% is 4800 I think they work out the percentages AFTER removing the seats for segregation...
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 2 per season ticket I hope, wouldn't want my dad to miss this one. If it's 2 per ticket then I'm OK.
The Godfather Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 its more like 5000 isnt it? 15% is 4800 Correct plus the gap between the two sets of fans will be taken out of their allocation.
Scudamore Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Yep that was it. Missed the game and pi**ed me off. Unlucky! I'd have probably given you a lift as well being the nice chap i am. Unless you were the bad men talking about our "mob" and the "yoof" on the train.

Scudamore Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Are you from Bournemouth? If so that may be a useful contact... True dat blud
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Hypo, what did you think "location: Bournemouth" meant then?
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 Hypo, what did you think "location: Bournemouth" meant then? Doh. Should pay close attention.
saintkiptanui Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Just to let people know I will pay £1 more for a ticket than anything Hypocondriac offers you. Maybe even £2. (Not really)I will give double. I reckon the police will only let them have 3000 as we seem to be a bit naughtier these days and it's massive for both clubs in so many ways
hypochondriac Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 I'm not even slightly bothered by people on a wind up. I'm just going to concentrate now for three weeks on getting a ticket.
saintkiptanui Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I'm not even slightly bothered by people on a wind up. I'm just going to concentrate now for three weeks on getting a ticket. Get over yourself you big drama queen.

saintkiptanui Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Love you kip xxx Any chance of a ticket? This takes me back to the cup final season, worried sick for weeks that I wouldn't get a ticket for the semi or final and then the utter joy of getting home from work to see the tickets on the door mat, really hpe it's the 2 for season ticket holders as I can easily get one then.
Deanovski Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 F*ck off Dean. Start your own scrounging thread haha i dont think ill get 6
