Ewell Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I really have a good feeling that we are going to draw Pompey at home. I cannot wait!
St.Thomas7 Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I have said that I have a strong feeling it will be the just-fresh-into-admin-Skates... That said woke up this morning with the idea that... Southampton FC v Wigan Athletic/Notts County Chelsea FC v P*rtsm*uth FC(ish) I'd take that.
Ponty Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I think we'll probably get a Prem side away and a bit of a lesson but it will still prove to have been a cup run that we should be proud of as a League 1 side. I'll say, Chelsea away.
The Fat Controller Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Skates at home .....a final humiliation for our fishy friends before they go out of business and on the bright side if they went out of business before the game we'd get a bye to the 6th round!
scruftydog Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 On the basis that we keep drawing the same clubs (Bristol Rovers, Northampton), its bound to be Birmingham (again!).
.comsaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 We will get Birmingham - and probably away.
Leicestersaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Chelsea at home (it is as likely as any other 'prediction'!).
TBone-Tone Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Chelsea or Aresenal away. Get a good payday then concentrate on the league.
saint lard Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 (edited) S****horpe will beat Man city,we will then draw S****horpe at home.Please. Really hope some of the big boys get drawn together. Edited 24 January, 2010 by saint lard
Badger Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Not who you want but who you think we will get: Me - West Brom away West Brom away in the 5th Round might be a good omen.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 One of these home/away 2 Reading 3 Derby County 4 Cardiff City 5 Stoke City or Arsenal 6 Notts County or Wigan Athletic 7 S****horpe United or Manchester City 8 West Bromwich Albion 9 Birmingham City 10 Fulham 11 Bolton Wanderers 12 Portsmouth 13 Chelsea 14 Aston Villa 15 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Crystal Palace 16 Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United Looking at the teams left in it, if the draw was really really kind to us, and o course we played our best, we could go a couple more rounds yet.
saint lard Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Would'nt surprise me if Stoke get a result against Arsenal. Here's hoping, their support in the cup final against us was terrible.
saintmonkey1979 Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I reckon we will get Fulham at the Cottage. Just a feeling i get
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I think we'll get Leeds On paper, or at least judging by league position, this would be one of the best draws in terms of our chances to progress. But I really hope we don't get them.
St Marco Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 (edited) I think we will get Chelsea away. Oviously we would get spanked by them.... But i think other then Villa,Chelsea,Spurs, we could do ok against the other teams. Leeds beat Man Utd so who knows! People were saying we were going to get beat by Ipswich as they had lost 1 game in 14 or something. The cup is different to league football, on the day anything can happen. So i would love Portsmouth at home because i think we could mash them. They will have some players leave by then if they are going to survive and i think our 1st team could destroy their reserve team. Which they will be forced to play if they have to move people on! Edited 24 January, 2010 by St Marco
smackalec Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 really open cup this year. A nice trip to the bridge or the skates at home for me.
Under Weststand Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Think we're due an away draw, been lucky with the draws so far this season in all competitions. I've a feeling we will get Leeds/Spurs away.
gjphilsaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 West Brom away in the 5th Round might be a good omen. I thought WBA away too.
gjphilsaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 draw at theirs away rhen beat them 4-0 at home...
Legod Third Coming Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Posted 24 January, 2010 Arsenal away I'm not asking you for the lottery numbers next week!
david in sweden Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 (edited) Not who you want but who you think we will get: Me - West Brom away well with not-so-much glamour left in the Cup, it looks like one of the less-popular sides may make it to Wembley. Of the top Prem. sided we have only Chelsea, Villa (and surely Man.City) left. Spurs and Wolves may not feel so comfortable with their away replays, but Wigan will surely overcome Notts-County. I'm writing this before the Scun/Man.City kick-off but don't expect any shocks there. Aside from ourselves there is only; Cardiff, Derby, Reading and West Brom left with Palace to win a replay. Fancy going into the 5th round without the likes of; Man.U, Eveton, Liverpool, Arsenal, Sunderland, Blackburn, West Ham, Hull and and Burnley... .. Will the draw be kind to us ...AGAIN ! Edited 24 January, 2010 by david in sweden
Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 It's fated to be Portsmouth away. Either that or Villa at home.
