TijuanaTim Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 I hope everyone in St Marys gave that psychotic tvvat large amounts of 'thumbs down' and other assorted schit.
Bad Wolf Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Been a good lets insult Roy Keane day today...Anyway...Anyone know the result of the actual game?
SoccerMom Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Keano, what's the score? Keano, Keano, what's the score? Brilliant.
TijuanaTim Posted 23 January, 2010 Author Posted 23 January, 2010 Keano, what's the score? Keano, Keano, what's the score? Brilliant. Roy Keane - A man with zero redeeming features.
saintkiptanui Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Roy Keane - A man with zero redeeming features. He's quite handsome in an Irish scallywag way.
stardustonmyfeet Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 He looks like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and is just as nasty
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 He looks like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and is just as nasty lmfao, quality.
SoccerMom Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 The man has no benevolence. Saw someone said that about Mr T, but I think it applies here.
alpine_saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Has he pulled a paddy to the press yet ?
St Marco Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Loved the chants of "What is the score keano what is the score?" And "Roy keane is a ******"
SuperMikey Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Keano what's the score had me chuckling. Great to get one over on the c*nt, can't believe some people wanted him as manager here.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 What a ****: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/8468667.stm "Didn't deserve to lose", my arse. We bossed them about for the majority of the second half.
dune Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Take that you Irish ****a, hope the **** gets the sack.
Crab Lungs Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 People finally coming round to realising that he is a first-class bitter c**t?
Ewell Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 People finally coming round to realising that he is a first-class bitter c**t? Are you joking? I think most people have always known he is just that, and a lot more besides! A horrid human being!
kpturner Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Keano, what's the score? Keano, Keano, what's the score? Brilliant. Is it really that brilliant? I mean, something original and imaginative would have possibly been brilliant. I thought Keane got off quite lightly compared to the likes of Phil Thompson a few years back.
Winchester_Saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 People finally coming round to realising that he is a first-class bitter c**t? Some people have always thought that. In terms of his personality, at worst you could describe him as evil, generally you could describe him as nasty, and at best you could describe him as boring. As for his football management skills...ha ha!
corsacar saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 To compare RK with the Iranian leader is so far over the top. I have mixed views on the man, but no one could argue that in his prime he was one of the best british midfielders of all time.
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 He is far worse than the Iranian leader, lets nuke Ipswich...:-)
ItchenRob Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Never a big fan but I thought he was correct over the Thierry Henry affair (but he then backtracked!)
SoccerMom Posted 23 January, 2010 Posted 23 January, 2010 Is it really that brilliant? I mean, something original and imaginative would have possibly been brilliant. I thought Keane got off quite lightly compared to the likes of Phil Thompson a few years back. It was actually, when you consider more people were singing that than OWTS, at least where I was (Itchen). It felt brilliant. Simple as that.
dronskisaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 He got his 'Fergie-time' added on...where tf did 5 minutes come from? Didn't do him any good anyway...psychotic Irish t*at

You could argue he was one of the best British midfielders of all time when you consider the fact he is not British.
Wade Garrett Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 I like him as a manager. He doesn't moan at all about refs, which is incredible when you think what a whingeing c*nt he was as a player.
dubsaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 He's quite handsome in an Irish scallywag way. no he ain't , you wouldnt believe how happy i am to see him leave St. Marys with nothing, he had no reason to give us the thumbs down on the last day of that season other than the fact he is and always will be an arsehole
dubsaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 You could argue he was one of the best British midfielders of all time when you consider the fact he is not British. British Isles ????????????????.....lets not do that one again
ChrisPY Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 British Isles ????????????????.....lets not do that one again Republic of Ireland. Not british. Northern Ireland. British hth
SET Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 Say what you like about the man, but as a player in his heyday there is no one id have wanted in my midfield before him. Outstanding player and captain.
VectisSaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Posted 24 January, 2010 To compare RK with the Iranian leader is so far over the top. I have mixed views on the man, but no one could argue that in his prime he was one of the best british midfielders of all time. Not sure whether you think the Iranian leader or Keane was one of the best British midfielders, but Ahmadinejad is about as British as Keano Actually if you listen to Keanos interview on the BBC what he actually said was "didn't deserve to win and probably didn't deserve to lose either", which probably (based on not being there myself) was just about fair (allowing also for Keane being biased as you would expect). Even Pardew admitted we were outclassed in MF yesterday. I agree Keane is knob, but there are plenty of things that could be used to beat him, but his match assessment yesterday was really quite balanced IMHO.
Redondo Saint Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 Back in LA now but want to find out what Keane was moaning about to AP after the game when they shook hands. Keane appeared to say F off as AP walked down the tunnel and AP looked amazed at his behavior. Anyone know?

I have mixed views on the man, but no one could argue that in his prime he was one of the best british midfielders of all time. He's from Eire, he's therefore Irish. England, Scotland, Wales = British Eire, Northern Ireland = Irish We live in the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". We live ON the British Isles, of which there are many many islands and a term disputed by many. Much like the French call the English Channel, Le Manche, or whatever term they use. It's not difficult.

It's not difficult. Correct its not difficult........ Northern Ireland (Ulster) is part of Great Britain. Republic of Ireland (Eire) is not British. Roy Keane is from the Republic of Ireland and therefore not British. Whereas George Best was from Northern Ireland and really was one of the greatest players to come from Britain. Colin Clarke and Ian Dowie were also from Northern Ireland, not quite sure you would put them in the same bracket as Georgie Best however!!

the mick channon windmill Posted 25 January, 2010 Posted 25 January, 2010 No it isn't. No he wasn't. Sorry, yes you are right......... i meant to say United Kingdom instead of Great Britain.
The9 Posted 26 January, 2010 Posted 26 January, 2010 Republic of Ireland. Not british. Northern Ireland. British hth I'm going to argue this both ways : The British Isles includes the Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland for that matter. So (very) arguably that's a definition of British. However, even Northern Ireland is not "British" but it is part of the UK, as evidenced by the full title "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". If NI was part of GB it wouldn't need to be mentioned separately, would it ? It's not called "the UK of England, Scotland and NI", is it ? (Before anyone starts, Wales is part of England as per the Act of Union which is why it doesn't have a separate legal system and isn't represented on the Union (Jack) flag, and don't talk to me about the bloody Assembly). But anyway, Roy Keane is a bit of a bell-end.
westofshannonsaint Posted 26 January, 2010 Posted 26 January, 2010 may I suggest that it would be unwise to call Roy Keane British (to his face anyway) I quite like Keano, he wants to win even if that means being a nasty c*nt. I don't like that he took pleasure seeing Saints relegated, but I can kind of understand it from his point of view - We were a Utd bogey team, with a prawn sandwich munching chairman, who seen staying up as an achievement.
St_Tel49 Posted 26 January, 2010 Posted 26 January, 2010 No it isn't. No he wasn't. Ulster is made up of 9 counties. 6 of them (Antrim, Londonderry, Down, Tyrone, Armagh and Fermanagh) are in Northern Ireland and 3 (Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal are in Eire). N Ireland is not part of Great Britain but is part of the UK. When you apply for a passport your are given a BRITISH passport and that is the bottom line. George Best was therefore British and, while opinons on greatness can vary, I would like you to nominate better (bearing in mind the poster used the words "one of the ..."
