anyone...but Pompey.

When they looked to be going down a few seasons back and they won at FP 1-0 it reignited thier season and they started a winning run.Had KP's shot gone in, not hit the post it would have been the hammer blow.

i dont want that risk. Also their pent up frustration and ire would have a focus and I think it could be worse than at at any time before. I dont want to take my daughter to a match thinking she may see a lot of violence thanks

Bit random but got a feeling might draw brum again!

I've been past their ground so many times this season on trains going to and coming back from away games. Every time I think 'I've never been to St.Andrew's yet, I wonder if we'll get them in the Cup?'

Could be an omen.

Yes Ron but ideally would want them back at sms to finish job off. Bit unluky last time around! Lads put in good performance and would be confident this time too me thinks?

I have a feeling we will get Leeds (or Spuds) or possibly Reading. Don't know why. Did I detect a wry smile from Coppell last night when they were (briefly) talking about us, just wonder if he is lined up for the Sporting Director role at the end of the season.

Really hope we don't get Pompey, anyone really wishing for us to be drawn to play at their **** ground must be mental. All that means is aggro and a chance for the small-minded people to pose as thugs, what we don't need right now is a game marred by violence. I also don't wish to contribute anything financially to them. Can you imagine if we lost and then they went out of business? We'd never hear the end of it from the club that would rise from the ashes. And as for that tosser Westwood, last night syaing "the PL will miss us, because we are real fans" - what planet is that guy on? Planet Ugly I guess.

Indeed, one of our best performances this season imo, and with an embryonic team. If Murty hadn't picked up that injury when we were 1 up after Lallana's wondergoal, I think we would have won that game.

I don't want them to have anything to do with our season. This is our time, our re-birth, our party and I don't want them gatecrashing it.

We don't want Pimpey - just because they are in a awful state at the moment does not mean the team on the pitch is crap - they won today against Premiership opposition and they would be a very, very tough game.

If they played to their potential they should win and I don't want anymore 4-1 defeats to those turnips thanks.

For me the next time we play them is in the league, we do the double over them and relegate them with a 5-1 at Fart-on Park....

Totally agree with you. Pompey maybe in the lower regeions of the premiership, but only 3/4 pts away from the team directly above them. That does not mean that we are ready for them. Yet.

I do not fancy being beaten on home turf by them. Never hear the end of it. We are by no means the finished article not by a long shot. I understand he excitement I really do, but let be honest with ourselves slowly and progressively please not.

Ir draw them then fair enough that is what the cup is all about, but I would rather draw some one else at the moment.

When was the lst time a league 1 side got in to the quaters of the FA cup?

I can understand your view to a degree Vectis Saint but I think you are going way too far calling those of us who want to draw the blue scum "mental". After most of my lifetime wishing we draw them I have prayed not for the last few years as we would almost certainly have lost badly.

This year I think many of us not only love the atmosphere above all else but feel that we could beat them now and humiliate their crumbling small club and idiot fans. A loss for us might be expected and hurt like fxck but if we won their shame would be 10 times worse.

As for going to Farton, yes it's a pain getting there but who doesn't consider the 1984 Moran winner as one of the greatest moments in our history. I'm prepared to brave the 6 fingered locals for an experience like that.

Home will do fine though. We'll definitely stuff them at SMS with a hell of an atmosphere

Either a big Prem team away ie. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City (big ground capacity) . Or more preferably, someone we can beat at home :-)

Hopefully large earner either way :-)

Why? We're owned by a multi-billionaire. :D

Best possible draw: the skates (and we win).

Worst possible draw: the skates (and we lose).
