No real "path of least resistance" games left, so I'd be quite happy with a trip to the Emirates and a nice big pay day.

I don't want Pompey either. I still don't think they're that bad.

Notts County or Wigan wouldn't be too bad a draw...

Pompey v Saints

Sunday 14th February

1.00pm k.o.

St Valentines day massacre

Al Pardew's St Valentines Day Massacre.

I feel a T-shirt coming on....

Actually it would be good to beat the skates before the f^ckers go out of business altogether

ummm...Notts County or a Championship team at home is a lot better than a Prem team away.

There are winnable matched in there. If not the Emirates I'd prefer Derby or Reading at home, possibly Cardiff. I wouldn't expect us to win those matches though.

When was the last time we reached the 5th round? Prem relegation year?

Nope, got there two years ago. Got knocked out by Bristol Rovers on TV and some sh*tty League 1 striker scored a jammy free kick against us.

If we get an away draw - hos big is the chanses of getting tickets for me and my daugther to that game ?

That's like asking how longs a piece of string.

We should get 15% of the attendance , if it's a league one or Championship club you should get tickets easy. Premier league won't be so easy...

Anyone who wants Pompey in the 5th round has lost the plot IMHO. Who wants to ruin our improving season with a defeat to that bunch? Too risky. I see they only had 10k at the game today - half our attendance!

A home draw, preferably Portsmouth. Sms would be rocking.

i must be getting old because i do not fancy playing the skates either home or away , just to much aggro getting to game and away afterwards.

lets take 9000 to the Arse or 6000 to Chelsea

Arsenal away would be great, wouldn't fancy losing to the skates or a midweek trip to Tranmere.

Chuckle.

I want the easiest match we can possibly have, and at home. That way we have the best possible chance of progressing, and not tiring out the squad too much. People who want Chelsea, Arsenal, Portsmouth or the like, and AWAY at that, must have a screw loose.

away at Notts County. Not been there yet. Arsenal away would be another ground, how much would they charge for tickets I wonder?

Whens the draw?

And when will it be played?

Draw is tomorrow.

Ties will be played Saturday 13th February / Sunday 14th February.

Hartlepool home league game will have to be put back (always home games, lol)

Tomorrow afternoon after the second match on ITV.

The next round will be played the weekend of the 13th/14th February so the home match with Hartlepool will have to be re-arranged.

The best draw (because of match-up) from a coaching preospective is Derby at home, followed by Reading home...either would be a blessing.

Personally to watch - the sailor boys at fartton, but in reality no good for us at this juncture and too much drama.

We'll get either Fulham or Spurs away (after they despatch Leeds)

Skates will get Cardiff at home.

Replay of 2008 final, but with a very different Pompey. Four days after the HMRC winding up hearing. Emotional times?

Of course, I'd prefer it the other way around:

Saints home v Cardiff

Skates home v Spurs.

Just think of the warm reception for big spending Uncle Harry, former captain of the sinking ship... :) :) :)

.

Derby or Reading at home would give us the best chance of progressing to the QFs IMO.

Poopey home or away would be the most atmospheric tie of the round and a guaranteed fixture for the TV people.

Goons away would be the best pay day.

If we get Pompey away the Skates will probably opt to play it here because they need the money.

But we'll get Man Citeh, away.

THink there is a rule that says you can't change where a game is played for purely financial reasons.

Would quite like the Arse or Man Citeh away, new grounds to visit. Not sure about the skates, although they are f**ked financially if they still have any players left I don't think we would beat them as much as I hate to say it. Then again, if they're down to their youth tam by then...

Want Arsenal away.

Can't say how many times I wouldn't want Pompey, I love the derby games but losing again would kill me. Lets leave them for a year or two when we will be stronger.
