We drank in a Place called Fenny Stratford. half-Dozen pubs and a 20min walk to the Stadium. Put "Fenny Straford Pubs" into Google maps and there you go... Durleyfos Posted 26 January, 2010 Share Posted 26 January, 2010 We drank in the bar in The Hilton attached to the ground. No problems, nice friendly home fans and stewards in there. Not overly expensive either.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 We drank in the 'red dot bar' and it was packed, took about 30 mins to get served. More of us in there than home fans.
Neil Posted 25 February, 2010 Share Posted 25 February, 2010 So I take it everyone is returning to some of the venues mentioned above for the March 20th game? Heard that the stadium is worth a look, although we may be a bit short on numbers a week before Wembley. How long did the road journey home to So'ton take after the evening game? Andy_Porter Posted 25 February, 2010 Share Posted 25 February, 2010 Can't see us taking 3,000 again somehow! Will probably just drink in London then head to the ground since it's a Saturday 3pm, should probably book my train tickets totally forgot about the Mk game after all the Wembley talk. lb_saint Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Living about 10 miles south of the Don's stadium but a regular visitor to St Mary's would estimate 2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on routes taken and roadworks e..g on M25/M3 if you go that way. 100%Red&White Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Can't see us taking 3,000 again somehow! I can, particularly if the next 3 games go well. Living about 10 miles south of the Don's stadium but a regular visitor to St Mary's would estimate 2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on routes taken and roadworks e..g on M25/M3 if you go that way. We went Southampton > A34 > Oxford > A43/A421 Bicester/Buckingham > MK - absolute doddle. 2 hour drive, other than a couple of minute queue at a roundabout going round Buckingham, barely saw another car! A number of pubs along the route. Parked for free in Asda next to the ground, grabbed some scram/tinnies for trip home. Good result, very acceptable away trip, will do it again. SimonRichards Posted 17 March, 2010 Share Posted 17 March, 2010 A few if us found a great pub, just outside Bletchly (10 minutes from stadium) called the Clocktower. There will be a few of us in there again this Saturday. Big pub, pool tables, good selection of beer, friendly staff, beer garden etc hope to see some of you there.
