Smirking_Saint Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 This lad talks sense. Really don't understand the **** a few fans on here give to Keane. Pretty sure he doesn't give a **** about us! Really don't understand fans that don't understand the real passion and thinking that goes through normal football fans minds. Football is about opinions etc, get over it lads
St Landrew Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Obviously realises he has a game on his hands today. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/8468667.stm The interview was with their local radio, hence the Ipswich bias. greg_hill Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 I agree everyone should just get over it and the best way to do this is to start a new thread entitled 'Roy Keane's gesture".
offix Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 that F@@khead deserves a good hiding. Hope we can give it to them so that all in the stadium can give the same gesture he gave us back to the w@nker!
Johnny Shearer Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Quite right That day as he was warming down some of our fans were giving him abuse so he did put his thumb down but if you cant take it dont give it. As for his other things i think it takes guts to come out and say what he did v harland as how many other players go in to hurt players and never say anything, he never backes down from saying anything. Im not a big fan but christ get over it, hes come out this week and said he doesn't feel we are a L1 club, and no punch line that we should be in L2. So focus your energy on beating the team not the manager There weren't many fans left in the stadium at that point and I don't recall the manchester players abused in their warm down, maybe there was some booing but I was too devasted to care at that point. He is c**t for the gesture and he was lucky that there were so few fans near the him at the time. A few more and the stewards would not have been able to hold them back. Just shows he's a coward. Also it takes guts to say that the Irish team is a joke and leave the squad at the World Cup, he is a bottler.

Leicestersaint Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 keane is a dreadful bloke with massive chips on his shoulders - i for one am delighted we beat him and his side today. And if we play his side again in the future I shall again be delighted to beat him.

Legod Third Coming Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 I tend to agree. I love getting wound up by players and screaming at them. The idea that I would then go to the police is pathetic. It's part of the fun of the game, like Giant Haystacks winding the old wrestling crowd up... I remember watching a Pompey game and I think it was Ian Baird playing for Leeds at the time. He suffered so much stick throughout the game he eventually bioled over, reacted and was sent off! That's the beauty of it. Today we need to get right behind our team so that we can shove it down Keane's throat. Imagine being 2-0 up with 5 to go and singing 'sacked in the morning'... Well I was singing it...
