Doing these has nothing to do with intelligence. You just get used to it. The first one I ever did was actually simple and I couldn't do it. I'm ever so slightly hooked on doing them at the moment. I'm hoping it will pass, as the guitar practice is suffering.

 

I think they are very good mental exercise though.
