Garvan was the best player on the pitch by a country mle when we played them at home the other year - I remember it well as I had never heard of him and looked him up in the programme.

Am surprised Ipswich would let him go.

Garvan would be an even bigger and better signing than Lambert. The boy has quality and has played over 15 games for EIRE. Not sure if I can see this happening, but will be over the moon if so!

I for one would read his comments with some interest. I must admit i only read your comments if i want a laugh. I can't start a new thread as I'm not a registered member, but have been informed by my Pompey supporting friend that speculation on Pompey messageboards suggest that Richard Hughes could be on his way to us for 350k. Although a skate, would be a top midfielder in League 1 and would do a decent job in the Championship imo.

I am not ITK or going to guess, but BBC site quotes that Derby are on the rocks and their whole squad is up for sale.

 

I don't suggest we buy the whole squad... but there one or two interesting names there...

I seem to remember it was Owain Garvain that dented the hopes of our youth cup dream team in the home leg of the youth cup final. Scored a super goal. He looked good that night.
