yorkiesaint Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 I think to stand any chance we'll have to pack the midfield. I would go for Davis James/Thomas Jaidi Perry Harding Waigo Gillet/James Wotton Lallana Holmes Lambert
yorkiesaint Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 a bit too far for a session for me trousers but I will be there 'in spirit'

Tac-tics Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Gobern to be included???
madruss Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Gobern to be included??? I'd quite like to see Gobern given a run-out in the centre, he looked quite useful there when he was played there by the dutch jokers
Saint_clark Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Gobern to be included??? Would be a good test for him in his natural position. Him, James and Wotton in CM then? Or is it 4-4-2?

Red Alert Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 (edited) Whats going on with Gillett? Are we going to keep him, seems strange to have him on the bench if we were going to let him go out on loan again, or sell him. Edited 23 January, 2010 by Red Alert Appologies for my poor grammar. VectisSaint Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 (edited) Subs include Gillett and Saga, as well as Harding, Bart, Lancashire, Antonio and Papa. No sign of Connolly then, must still be injured. Edited 23 January, 2010 by VectisSaint Typo, though "ne" injured could be correct

He's here and available, so having him on the bench makes sense as we don#t have many options at the moment. Being cup-tied at this stage in the season is not really a factor for any team likely to take him.
Tac-tics Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 tbf any teams that progress past this stage won't likely be interested in the standard of Gillett so we may aswell use him.

suewhistle Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 ... Or worse still, pretending we're excited visiting clubs like Wigan, Portsmouth, Hull, Stoke, Birmingham and many others that will never be glamour games even if they are in the top flight. Well, best visit Portsmouth whilst they are in existance. You could then claim to have been in the only capacity crowd in their last ever year.. suewhistle Posted 23 January, 2010 Share Posted 23 January, 2010 Harsh on Antonio but I assume he will be bought on in the second half for an impact cameo. I think it reflects the effort he put in mid-week and not his performance.
