But I must admit that the fact they now have Oster for the rest of the season and have suddenly started talking to Gillett again, certainly gives that impression?

Watch this space. So many saints 'discards' have gone on to do very well at other clubs.

He's been with Saints since 2000, and has actually played 31 times for us [i looked that bit up]. But he's already played 11 times for Donny while on loan. Good luck to him.

I am hoping that the silence re Stock is significant! saints seem to do things the right way now, so I am forever hopeful!
