Red Alert Posted 19 January, 2010 Share Posted 19 January, 2010 (edited) This is why BBC Football annoys me so much, no interest at all in the league cup, as soon as its a big game they have it on BBC1. Same with the African Nations. Anyway, United to win tonight 1-2. City will score, but the back two for City tonight are a bit of a joke. EDIT Scrap that last bit, Richards is at right back, thought he was in the middle. Edited 19 January, 2010 by Red Alert

Why would the BBC broadcast a game nobody is interested in on a prime time slot? Common sense to show this one surely?
Red Alert Posted 19 January, 2010 Share Posted 19 January, 2010 Why would the BBC broadcast a game nobody is interested in on a prime time slot? Common sense to show this one surely? I dont want to take this thread off topic, but they have plenty of other places (BBC2/3/RedButton) they could provide a great service but they seem to not bother until they have something they can put on prime time. Was only last year that every game of the ACN was on the red button service, this year? 3 games.
St Landrew Posted 19 January, 2010 Share Posted 19 January, 2010 Not that I'm hugely interested, but I hope City win. That'll be a bit of a blow for the establishment.

Durleyfos Posted 20 January, 2010 Share Posted 20 January, 2010 I loved Tevez goal celebrations too. Aimed squarely at Gary Neville who said in the press that Tev wasn't worth 25m. GN really is a prize plank.
Scummer Posted 20 January, 2010 Share Posted 20 January, 2010 I loved Tevez goal celebrations too. Aimed squarely at Gary Neville who said in the press that Tev wasn't worth 25m. GN really is a prize plank. Neville was caught on camera sticking his finger up at Tevez as well. He's already been in trouble this season for celebrating in front of the City fans, so the FA may come down hard on him this time.

It is because of the money they throw about hope Southamton dont end up disliked by other clubs To be honest who gives a damn whether other clubs like or dislike Saints? Its not like are giving it large with all their money. Yes they have bought but I don't think any other club would have done differently if they had that kind of money behind them. Anyway back to the match. Was a good game but not amazing. I thought the sky commentators were going overboard by the constant praising of how good the game was ratehr than just commentating on the action. Scummer Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 LOL Ferdinand has had his suspension increased to 4 games for frivolous appealing. It worked though didn't it. By appealing it meant he could play last night and they won, so ManU probably think it was worthwhile.
