A few years back Kraft took over Norway's main chocolate producer, Freia. They kept the products the same, but after a short while they changed the recipe for the chocolate. I don't know anybody who thought it was a change for the better.

 

QED. They made it cheaper to make, ergo higher margins.

Cadbury is just as bad as Kraft. Changing their recipe to include palm oil in order to save money proves this point.

 

Not to mention the impact this decision has on the planet.
