norwaysaint Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 If you live in Norway, you'll have to mask your IP to a UK one to watch it. BBC iplayer is UK only i think. I'm talking about telly, not iplayer.
trousers Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 If you live in Norway, you'll have to mask your IP to a UK one to watch it. I know a 'lady' called Rhonda who may be able to help out with that one...
eurosaint Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Well, if I live in Norway and I can select any BBC region, surely most people can? My son lives in Belgium and he can do it too !
georgeg Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Not bad, not brilliant - at least there trying!
stockportsaint Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Not bad, not brilliant - at least there trying! My thoughts too. At least they're doing a regional prog, which is far more than ITV ever did when they had the rights. Their highlights prog. was a total shambles - 25 minutes on one game, then 30 secs each on every other game. Thought the piece on Paul Tisdale and Exeter was very good. Going by the number of teams they've got to cover we should get highlighted 3 times a season. However the piece on Pompey being skint was pretty poor, no real detail and if you've watched South Today all week no new coverage.
krissyboy31 Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Thought it was half hour of my life wasted TBH. I f'ing hate Jonathan Pearce!
Guy Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Set the Sky+ for this last night and watched it over breakfast. When I was living back in Weymouth about 4 years back, there was an ITV South West football show in a similar style (filmed in various pubs I seem to recall) which only had to focus on the 3 'big' clubs in the region (Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter) so could spend a decent amount of time on each one. Having one 30min BBC show for 3 (maybe 4?) tv regions is never going to be able to focus on more than one club each week, or provide any more coverage than the Saturday night Football League Show. A bit of a waste really.
St Landrew Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 They usually show the London programmes, but when I was using TV Catchup last week, they had Meridian. BBC South in ITV region takeover shocker..!

Yate Saint Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Wasn't that bad a show. At least there is some kind of 'local' football show on telly now. Not been one for a while. The area it covers is good for people like me who dont live close to the team they support. Unless they live out of the south of course. I thought Tisdale came accross very well in his interview.
eesti matty Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 BBC South in ITV region takeover shocker..! I know what you mean, but I was referring to the channels with regional variations I know how it looks, though
scotty Posted 20 January, 2010 Posted 20 January, 2010 there was some talk about liverpool earlier on this thread so I asked a guy I know up there, massive reds fan, and sent him some quotes from the thread, this was his reply; Yes on the LFC forums if we don’t finish in the top 4 we are f*cked 300M + in debt, interest rates are about to start rising 2 americans running the place, that’s like putting homer simpson in charge of dunkin donuts. I did say along time ago only drastic times will get shut of them well I hope the time has come
