So the video I saw of a "man"(taliban) with a stick thrashing three women dressed in burkha's was respecting them? I don't use swearwords on this forum, but this subject brings me close to it.

 

Well, in countries like Saudi Arabia they all have to wear burkhas/headscarves so any woman being beaten by a man will be wearing a burkha. It's quite irrelevent. I also don't think you should use the Talibans attitudes to generalise the whole of Islam.
