nickfinks Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 So lets put Millwall behind us, who's in and who's out for Wednesday For me we have to play Waigo and Connelly, the new defence seems ok and will get better with time, will Holmes get another run out? So many questions.
goodymatt Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 well seabourne and otsemebor are both cup tied, sounded holmes wasn't too great y'day, jaidi is out for 2 weeks so its probs james and perry fillin in the gaps at the back, might revert to lallana back on left, waigo on right and connolly upfront. why didnt connolly start yesterday? was he not 100% fit or just not selected?
nickfinks Posted 17 January, 2010 Author Posted 17 January, 2010 Of course they are cup tied (shame on me) so I guess you right matt perry and james, AP seemed to think Holmes did ok? i wasnt there so i really cant comment.

Pardew raved about Holmes.
Genk Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 May find that Thomas plays at RB and James plays in the centre with Schneiderlin.
S-Clarke Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 I'm sure i read somewhere that players signed mid-season from the championship and above, cannot be included in the JPT squad...can anyone confirm that? Prob a load of rubbish, but im sure i saw it somewhere.

Holmes was one of the few who played well attcking wise yesterday, prior to Antonio coming on
Nexstar Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 I'm sure i read somewhere that players signed mid-season from the championship and above, cannot be included in the JPT squad...can anyone confirm that? Prob a load of rubbish, but im sure i saw it somewhere. Doesn't mention it in the rules, just says about only playing for one club in the competition per season. If Jaidi is still out then i'd like to see: Davis James Perry Fonte Harding Wotton Waigo Holmes Lallana Lambert Connolly
JustMike Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 i hope he starts with Holmes again, i do rate him. And he is one of very few players we have that will get to the byline and cross, and he has pace.
.comsaint Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Who will be captain as Hammond is out? Not sure. Anyone know how bad Hammond's knock is/was?
Paul Chuckle Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Who will be captain as Hammond is out? Kelvin id have thought
NickG Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Not sure. Anyone know how bad Hammond's knock is/was? Pardew said prob 2 weeks out
S-Clarke Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Not sure. Anyone know how bad Hammond's knock is/was? Achilles injury, so fortnight at least.
.comsaint Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Pardew said prob 2 weeks out That's a shame - especially with the 2 cup games coming up. So we're without Jaidi & Hammond for a fortnight - which is not good as they're 2 key players. With the recent additions at the back we've got cover for Jaidi of course although not for the cup games. Midfield is the one department where I think we'd all agree needs sorting by Pards once & for all. I'm really hoping that between now & the end of January - he manages to pull off a masterstroke somewhere & add some real grit & flair to the centre.
.comsaint Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 is the game on tv? I believe so. It is also being streamed & nearer the time I will post working links.
S-Clarke Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 is the game on tv? yep - sky sports 3, 7pm K.O.
St.Bart -No.1 Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 is the game on tv? SkySports 3 6.55 with a 7pm kick-off
hamster Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 I'm driving straight from work, finish at 5. Don't mind if you start without me but hope I don;t miss any goals. Millwall is history and the books will show a point away from home, their have been worse outcomes to games, and actually I would happily settle for the exact same result on Wednesday. I have though got a feeling we will thump them very hard in the bread-basket. 4-1 (Jackson hat-trick)
Arizona Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Bart James Thomas Fonte Harding Waigo Hammond Morgan Holmes Lallana Lambert IMO
Nexstar Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Bart James Thomas Fonte Harding Waigo Hammond Morgan Holmes Lallana Lambert IMO I went similar (above) but the tough decision is who to have instead of Hammond, due to him out for 2 weeks.
Matthew Le God Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Bart James Thomas Fonte Harding Waigo Hammond Morgan Holmes Lallana Lambert IMO Did you not go to/read about/or listen to the game yesterday? Hammond is injured.
CHAZZA 92 Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Davis James Fonte Perry Harding Antonio Morgan Wotton Lallana Lambert Connolly

Genk Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 who is jackson? He's assuming we sign Simeon Jackson before Wednesday. Although he would be 'cup tied' as mentioned.
hamster Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 who is jackson? Some bloke with a farm just outside Hedge End, touted by many t be our saving grace.
Arizona Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 I went similar (above) but the tough decision is who to have instead of Hammond, due to him out for 2 weeks. Did you not go to/read about/or listen to the game yesterday? Hammond is injured. Nope. Saw we'd drawn, read a bit of the reaction thread, missed that though. Ah well, stick James in instead.
Nexstar Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Nope. Saw we'd drawn, read a bit of the reaction thread, missed that though. Ah well, stick James in instead. And who at right back?
Arizona Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 And who at right back? Aagh, I don't know. Telfer or Golac. Long day, early start. :smt015
shurlock Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Davis James Fonte Perry Harding Waigo Morgan Wotton Lallana Lambert Antonio Davis James Fonte Thomas Harding Lallana Morgan Wotton Holmes Lambert Waigo Bearing in mind injuries and cup-ties. Would like to see Gobern given a run at CM at some point. Looked quite lively the few times he's played there.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Bart (just due last round heroics) Thomas, Fonte, Perry, Harding Waigo, James, Morgan, Lallana, Holmes Lambert subs Davis Wooden Antonio Connolly Patterson
Saint_Jonny Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 yep - sky sports 3, 7pm K.O. Ive got no chance finding a pub that will show it up here what with Liverpool playing spurs on the same night. A night infront of the radio for me them...

Andy_Porter Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Davis Ostemebor - Fonte - Perry - Harding Waigo - Schneiderlin - James - Lallana Lambert - Antonio
ericofarabia Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Don't see many 'play a 2nd XI team and rest our top players' posts now that we are a whisker away from Wembley Hopefully MK's big win on Saturday will focus our attention, it's not (and never was) going to be easy.
forever a red and white Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 are we in red and white or yelloooooowwss?
Hopkins Posted 17 January, 2010 Posted 17 January, 2010 Can only see it being this team imo. Davis James Perry Fonte Harding Antonio Morgan Wotton Holmes Lallana Lambert
