After upgrading to Sky+HD i now have a spare + box going if anyone wants it?

 

Dont know what they're worth, and cant be @rsed looking so a 4 pack will do me!

That's a concern, how long after you've had them do they normally pack up? I've had mine about 6 months...

Depends on the make, Thompsons can pack up anywhere from a week to a year due to cheap capacitors they used in the PSU, which you can send away to be upgraded for about £25+. As for the others they normally have HDD problems, but not to the extent of the Thompsons problems thou. HTH

How easy is it to replace the HDD. Is just an open the box replace the hard drive and then the sky box formats the drive ready to start recording again. Been thinking of putting a bigger drive in.
