Miltonaggro Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 NC made them an offer they couldn't refuse...

Matthew Le God Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Should help attract better players as the club progresses. Hopefully completed by pre season 2010/11 season.
suewhistle Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Good news! Remind me again where Pimply train?

St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Can't believe it. They didn't need to make a decision until sometime next month and yet they've decided ahead of schedule. Is this a first..?

Toadhall Saint Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Excellent news - this will make the club even more attractive to potential players.
the_barmy_saints_army Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 its shows even more they're in it 4 the long run

I know if I sell a house I'll do up the bathroom before putting it on the market.... then people don't feel they need to do it themselves. While I have no idea how long ML intends to hold on to Saints - hopefully until we're European Champions at least - I just thought I would point out your assertion isn't that sound.

Rupes will be first in the line of bidders....spending his own money for a change](*,)
Saint Fan CaM Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Fantastic news - once again - for Saints fans. The infrastructure is slowly yet surely being re-built - hang on, no... it's not only being re-built it's being professionally improved upon beyond the imagination of past regimes. Makes Lowe/Woodwards efforts look a bit naff to be fair. Onwards and upwards with the only football team in Hampshire worthy of the terms "professional" and "world-class".
Tac-tics Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Just getting better, is it just the building and surrounding area thats being done? To think of the despair we all shared this time last year, we nearly died on our arses and now we're spending this money on our training ground. Pretty nice....
Colinjb Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 The only way this could ever turn a profit for Cortese and Leibherr is if we get to the premier league and stay there. Investment like this is proof they are here long term for me, so delighted they are making the commitment to the club in all areas.

Seriously, this is fanastic news to have the planning consent through. Who would have predicted all the good news during last Summer.

VectisSaint Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Seems to have been approved extremely rapidly, normally planning applications take months. Did the Echo get permission from NC to announce this? If not they should be banned. Oh they already are.
Under Weststand Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Great news, well done NC & ML interesting times ahead for the next few years. Let the good times roll.
