Tac-tics Posted 14 January, 2010 Share Posted 14 January, 2010 Dan Seaborne.....Saints paid about £250,000 with add ons and sell on etc... after accepting Saints third offer in January........ From Exeter....This season Seaborne has started 21 games and a string of imperious performances alerted a host of clubs. Norwich had already made two offers in October /November described as derisory offers. I believe they had already offered in pre season as well. Recently they signed Whitbread....Will be interesting to see his progress at the Canaries and when he plays on his big wages. Since Exeter moved into Div 1.. Seaborne has improved his distribution as well as his disciplinary record...only two bookings this season. Boasting a real aerial presence coupled with his speed across the turf. There is no doubt his prowess at the back will be sorely missed....say Exeter. He is also described as.....ATHLETIC, QUICK, POWERFUL, young AND UNCOMPROMISING and it was always just a matter of time before he was lured away from Exeter...A very accomplished Centre Half. In the Saints Exeter game he played a lot better than some posters suggest....Still very much for the future but has the ability and strength to do a job in the absence of Jaidi..Or in due course alogside Jaidi and Fonte. Quality left footed centre backs are coveted commodities..He is a terrific talent, left footed, aggressive and would probably had gone from Exeter earlier if he hadn't had set backs through injury...broke a leg summer of 2007 pre season friendly.. ALWAYS 100% FIT AND COMMITTED SINCE....Saints have bought development and potential and a very good player as well. BEST OF LUCK TO SEABORNE. coyrS There's something not quiete right about this post, was you sozzled or typing this really fast???
