Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Bart will want to leave now. Bit p*ssed off about that, he's done NOTHING to deserve being dropped. With 3 defensive debuts, I expect AP wants an old head behind to marshall.

Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Your post was silly up to this point, when it just became f*cking ridiculous. So if we draw or lose today, we have no chance of getting in the play-offs? Don't be so absurd. Lose today and we could be 13 points from the PO and 1 points from bottom 4! The9 Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Amazing that we can field 3 new signings and yet picking Holmes is probably the biggest surprise by far !
Saint_clark Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Lallana IS up front, confirmed on solent. Summariser is a bit of a tw*t, making out that Connolly and Waigo on the bench is a mistake from Pardew.

Summariser is a bit of a tw*t, making out that Connolly and Waigo on the bench is a mistake from Pardew. Not really, Connolly is 50/50 and not fully fit and Waigo is still not 100% convincing from the start, away from home. They have it wrong for a change. Also it's worth remembering that james had his best game for us away at Wallsall, where we played a similar formation and james played on the right side. Saint_clark Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Lose today and we could be 13 points from the PO and 1 points from bottom 4! ...........So? That doesn't make it impossible to get in the play-offs.

Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 i think holmes deserves a shot and has got defense spot on. 3 players making debuts, 2 players after only training for 2 days.....its a BIG risk if playing at home. Do it at a side that have lost once at home all season scored 22 conceded 9 is border line suicide. Why change a winning side this much?

S-Clarke Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Why change a winning side this much? according to you we have been ''very, very poor'' in the last few games, so of all people, i'd expect you to be applauding the changes.
Tac-tics Posted 16 January, 2010 Share Posted 16 January, 2010 Holmes could well be like another new signing today. 75% of the defense being changed will either signal a horror show or a bloody stroud bit of management.

Change one or two but - 3 debuts (all in Def) Holmes starting James in new pos Lallana potentially back up front Davis back in goal Might get away with this at home - not at top 7 side. Madness imo

Bizarre **** me, how has Pards lost the plot? Gets 3 new defenders in, do you think he bought them to play golf with, they are fecking pro players and have trained this week. Brings in Holmes who has clearly impressed in training. Losing the plot would be picking Forecast, Molyneux and Pulis.
