The area is no different to any in London if you act stupidly you may get in trouble but act responsibly you should be OK. Presume you are calling the ticket office number which isn't the booking line number? You will have to keep trying, as you will need to ask for a duplicate. Just watched the preview and the mid season review on Saints player and though its been said before, worth mentioning again that christ Pardew talks a lot of sense.
