Hate to say to TDD and Sour Mash that I told you so, but I told you so. Choudary's 500 marchers don't exist anywhere else but in his head. He managed to gather up 20 protesters for Luton and that's the best he's done anywhere. Muslims just don't support him.

According to the N of TW, they are about to be declaired 'a banned organisation'....that will settle their hash!!

 

In a way, I hope they don't get banned, banning them would allow Choudary to claim many thousands of supporters and stoke up ill feeling towards Muslims even more. He wants the EDL to attack Muslim targets, because then he can gather recruits for his nutjob group.

Isn't this a non-story? As far as I was aware it got cancelled about a week ago. Not that the frothing-at-the-mouth masses even bothered to check this before joining all the pointless, dribbling outrage groups on facebook about it.

No you didn't "tell" me anything. I had said all along that the march would never happen and the whole point of it is to wind up and antagonise. I also said all along that it doesn't matter if it is one man, 100, or 1 million, its about the influence and impact they can have. I know that the majority of muslims don't support him.

Sadly these people have got the reaction and publicity they wanted. As pointed out by poster's on here their massive 20 person protest at Luton proved they do not have the huge support some of the right wing media and extremist hate groups claim they do.

each one breathes life into the other, and so the process goes on and on.

Now, I'm all for the Muslims calling off their march on the first day while it was still snowing, but where are they going to draw the line? The forecast is freezing conditions until at least Tuesday according to BBC with snow on Sunday and Monday in Soton. To call off the march yesterday is a joke surely?

 

If health and safety issues are the reason for calling it off, where do they think the Muslims go when they're not in Wootton Bassett? Out on the ice building inflamatory anti-Western snowmen or tucked up in doors reading the Daily Mail and praying to Jesus?

there were rumours that they turned up today...but they were indeed...rumours

 

For the record, It was supposed to be the EDL turning up in Bassett. This was after someone mailed the local paper.

 

OB were out in force all day, with support drafted in from surrounding areas, to be honest they wouldn't of got close to town and frankly I'm glad of it.

 

I'll not tell you how i know....I'll leave it to you.............

I think the 'nutters' slur is well founded after listening to his interview on the today programme earlier on today. "The result is a failure for the concepts of democracy and freedom" said Choudary...hmmm ironic much?

I'm a member, but I don't spend every hour of my day thinking about it, I have other things to do.

 

As with regards to your second sentence, I clearly stated a logical and valid reason why I hate the EDL/BNP a lot more than Islam4Uk so stop trying to twist things with your 'clever' editing of posts; did your EDL/BNP buddies give you a little gold star (oh no, probably a bit to 'Jewish' for the EDL/BNP eh?) or a little St.George's cross pin badge as a reward for that wonderful job?

What they follow and preach is so clear of anything Islam states that they should be just refered to as 'extremists' and not tar the law abiding peaceful majority by association.

 

Crab Lung's post above is absolutely right, all these groups serve, even though they may be at polar opposite view points is to prop up each others existance.

The type of people who start frothing at the mouth about this kind of pretty obvious wind-up hold immeasurably more sway in elections than ethnic minorities, particularly in an election year because there's tons of them in marginal constituencies. And yet they genuinely believe the government pays no attention to them, only to the effnicks :lol:

Islam clearly states that all those who convert away from the religion must be killed under Sharia law. These guys ARE muslims. But we bury our heads in the sand and pretend that surely no-one would believe that.
