NorthamSteve Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. *Throws computer out of window...
Al de Man Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 Started last night when it was first posted. Picked it up again this afternoon. Got one key for secure box in the briefcase. Can't figure out the second. Can't even see the third! Haven't gone to the forum as yet.
sotonjoe Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 can't find the tips on that website, is it a wind up?
RedAndWhite91 Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 How do you get that key with all the coloured buttons?!?!?!?!!?!
Mark`` Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 got to the safe put the 10" in and i am stuck there..
Al de Man Posted 10 January, 2010 Posted 10 January, 2010 Done it without needing any tips. I actually drew a diagram and worked out how to get the third key before I even found it.
St Landrew Posted 11 January, 2010 Author Posted 11 January, 2010 I'll link another escape game even more elegant than this one.
St Marco Posted 11 January, 2010 Posted 11 January, 2010 jesus christ this is hard. I have no idea how to get the 3rd key from the secret bit with the chess looking board thingy.....
St Landrew Posted 12 January, 2010 Author Posted 12 January, 2010 whats the colour code for the key? If you've got the opening on the wall down, by pressing for 10 secs on the button, then you'll have that set of 9 buttons in a 3x3 grid. Underneath is a space bar style button. Press that, and the colour code is revealed. Then you have to enter the numbers in the way they appear on the coloured die, e.g. the number 1 would be the centre button pressed in the 3x3 grid, as it would appear on the die. Got it..?
Pancake Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 3rd battery anyone? before I kill my wife and son?
St Landrew Posted 12 January, 2010 Author Posted 12 January, 2010 Now try the next one, mate. That'll take you a little bit longer, help or no help.
saint_stevo Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 im on the panel with 7 buttons along and a key behind a dark glass thingy. Not a clue. I have picked up 2 batteries and a test tube baby mind
Pancake Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 Now try the next one, mate. That'll take you a little bit longer, help or no help. Link?

saint_stevo Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 what the hell is this noise db thing all about. i may slaughter some people this evening
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 someone want to put a step by step walkthrough on here.. cheers
St Landrew Posted 12 January, 2010 Author Posted 12 January, 2010 someone want to put a step by step walkthrough on here.. cheers Why don't you go and find one..?
St Landrew Posted 12 January, 2010 Author Posted 12 January, 2010 ok, briefcase open, safe open, chair moved, struggling with the two wall things and the colours. No idea how it relates to the damn cube OK, if the chair is moved, do you have the frequency emitter..? If you do there are sliders on it that alter the frequency. Press the PLAY button. Now move the sliders until the frequency is higher across all 5 beeps when you press the PLAY button. When you have that done, then press the OPEN button. Take the paper out, and prise off the magnet from the speaker. Fit the magnet to the socket spanner and pop it into the bolt-holes. You'll find 4 batteries to fit to the black-light. This you can pass over areas and reveal things. Try the gold bar, the hole in the wall and floor. You'll need one more area too. That'll do for now, as I can't remember anything else, atm. EDIT: Oh yeah, pass the black-light over the coloured die.
saint_stevo Posted 12 January, 2010 Posted 12 January, 2010 ahh i getcha, i was trying to get the noise to be the same.......give it a whirl cheers
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 I got the combination for the safe, but it won't f*cking open.
St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Author Posted 13 January, 2010 I got the combination for the safe, but it won't f*cking open. Ah yes, that's an absolute bugger. For Right you must make the dial go clockwise; i.e. the numbers go to the right and backwards, so to speak. Left means anticlockwise, of course. Also you don't turn the dial the amount, but turn to the actual number. That is, the inverted pointer at the top must sit over the number you have in your code at the end of the turning of the dial. OK..?
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Got it, cheers. Onto the next thing to be stumped on...
St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Author Posted 13 January, 2010 Got it, cheers. Onto the next thing to be stumped on... Chuckle..! Know what you mean. Wait till you try the next one in the other thread. That's a real bugger. But still do-able.
saint_stevo Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Black light? Where? in the frequency thingy apparently. not got it open yet though
St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Author Posted 13 January, 2010 Black light? Where? Get your gold bar and place in in the right corner of the room where the briefcase is. That tips the floor board up. The piece of string is cut with the swiss army knife. The black light is in the hole.
saint_stevo Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 cant figure out the radio thing. they all seem to be making different noises, but i cant open the dam thing
Pancake Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 cant figure out the radio thing. they all seem to be making different noises, but i cant open the dam thing Try to get them all sounding the same higher pitched tone.
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Epic. Got the key which needs the cube now, but I have absolutely no idea what the relation is between the paper with the letter and the coloured lock on the left...
Pancake Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Epic. Got the key which needs the cube now, but I have absolutely no idea what the relation is between the paper with the letter and the coloured lock on the left... The simple thing to say is shine the black light on EVERYTHING.
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Yeah, just found the piano - but my letters must be f*cked up because i'm sure i've got the colours right and it still ain't opening.
St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Author Posted 13 January, 2010 Yeah, just found the piano - but my letters must be f*cked up because i'm sure i've got the colours right and it still ain't opening. IIRC, the sequence is C D E F G A B. That's 7 white piano key notes and lights. The notes in the briefcase are the code, and they are placed where they lie in the sequence. So, for example, if you had F/Yellow, A/Light Blue, C/Green, and E/Blue, you would lay them out as: Green | Grey | Blue | Yellow | Grey | Light Blue | Grey You leave the buttons untouched/grey that don't have the colour code. See how it goes..?
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 (edited) Yeah, i'm near certain I got them in the right order, but it's just not opening Nevermind, I got one of the colours wrong. Now just for the third key. I'm assuming the outline of the rectangle with the little keyhole thing on the wall behind the briefcase is where it's located? Edited 13 January, 2010 by Saint_clark
St Landrew Posted 13 January, 2010 Author Posted 13 January, 2010 Batteries? Help! The 3 cell batteries are 1] on the left side of the picture, 2] behind the plug socket, and 3] on top of the skirting board to the right of the chair. The 4 conventional batteries are in the floor where the bolts were holding down the chair.
