Another 'big' signing, according to JackanorySFC

This is fantastic rather like a daft game of Guess Who but without the pics of beards and glasses etc - I hope next week's game gets postponed as well.

So to summarise; there's speculation that a friend of a guy we might have signed or might be signing might also be signing. Is anyone a friend of Jackanory on Facebook... ;) Sorry I'm being mischievous.

Any thoughts on if this fictio....possible signing is a striker as backup to Lambert and Connolly?

Nani.........Portugese, had a row with AF!!!....AF and Pards had long chat, and Fonte is Portugese, who say's the mystery player is Prem quality

Now that is reaching for the stars;);)

Sir Alex doesn't have rows with players, he just gives them bollikings when necessary. However so as not to appear too wimpish I expect they make out that they gave as good as they got, which isn't the case.

Not Wes Brown at right back then, after last week's game he's certainly fit in with "not doing so well". Principal architect of their humiliating loss I'd say. Still other criteria probably not so exact.

Definitely. I can remember it in the summer. Wigan, I think.

Wolves were linked with him last summer and then Brum were linked in a double `swoop' for Mills and Stock.

Not Premiership, but in recent times WBA and Reading were linked..again showing that he's a CCC player at least.

perhaps your close here as pards mentioned mccormack in his radio interview

Was thinking the same, and he plays for cardiff who are financially in the poo, handed in a transfer request (denied) at the start of the season and also has not scored a goal this year and so 'not having the best of seasons' like pardew said.

Also had offers from prem teams however not sure how to link him with fonte ??

pards mentioned mccormack when talking on radio perhaps your close

He was listing players sold by Saints due to admin and said McCormack and Surman. He obviously meant David McGoldrick and was just a slip of the tongue. Some on here no doubt will think it was a Freudian slip and he is interested in McCormack. :D

It's Brian Howard

Brian Howard has moved into a new house at Bartley and is commuting to Reading with Gregor Raziak.

I believe he is no longer on loan and has signed a three year contract on very good terms. I think Pardew has talked to him but he is too expensive for us at the moment and he isn't interested in playing in div 1. He would like to finish his career at St Mary's and would be interested if we were promoted, also has a get out clause if Reading are relegated.

I think it could be Ross McCormack he was linked with some prem clubs in the summer and portsmouth, was on fire last season scoring 21 goals hasn't scored at all this season and was looking to leave.

Cardiff are in money trouble aswell so could pick up a bargain. This could have some legs to it.

Does pardew have his name on his mind or was it a slip of the tongue?

Time will tell
