Big John Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Please don't ask for my source, suffice to say I have seen this with my own eyes. Radhi Jaidi was today admitted to hospital following a training groud incident that resulted in him sustaining an eye injury. Thankfully the Huddersfield game has been called off otherwise he may have missed the game. FACT
Mark`` Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 heard someone stood on his face in training and the stud went in his eye.
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Ouch, was it lancadire trying to get a game ?
Saints foreva Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Ouch, was it lancadire trying to get a game ? Do you think he has the bottle to do that to Jaidi. The man is a beast, I wouldn't be suprised if he is back in training tomorrow.
Evil Monkey Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Does this rule him out of the African Cup of Nations?
Somewhere In Northam Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 stud in the eye, hospital, mmmm YES
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Does this rule him out of the African Cup of Nations? No but his international retirement does, he has not been picked for ages
saints_is_the_south Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Not good news atall, lets hope he has a speedy recovery & is back for Millwall.
Wildgoose Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Give it a rest guys, your jokes couldn't be more cornea! ;-) seriously though, I hope he's back soon
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Iris just trying to think of some more...
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 I hope someone can lens him a hand on his road to recovery.
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Bet he got 'seen' quick at the hospital, because of his 'contacts'
St.Jeweller Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 eye don't think you all realise how serious this is.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 eye don't think you all realise how serious this is. Iris just about to say that Edit- just realised I've pretty much repeated a joke above. Well i'm not used to all this low brow humour
voteforpedro Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 Some of you seem to have a pretty blinkered view. I can see him being out for a fair amount of time.
Big John Posted 7 January, 2010 Author Posted 7 January, 2010 Bet he got 'seen' quick at the hospital, because of his 'contacts' You'd be surprised how close that is to the truth. S_S, in and out job. And a Corp Hosp consultant treated him, so no hanging about like us mere mortals.
Big John Posted 7 January, 2010 Author Posted 7 January, 2010 The (aqeous) humour in peoples responses is culpable. If he's out long term we'd better hope someone lens us a decent replacement.
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 January, 2010 Posted 7 January, 2010 You'd be surprised how close that is to the truth. S_S, in and out job. And a Corp Hosp consultant treated him, so no hanging about like us mere mortals. Thats what money does, if i roll into winchester or general in my shin pads and muddy shorts i am placed back of the list, even if in agony. Since these days i have learnt to put normal clothing on and deny a football injury to move in quicker.
voteforpedro Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Rumour has it Jaidi is currently in Oceana with a few other players, so can't be a serious injury.
hypochondriac Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Rumour has it Jaidi is currently in Oceana with a few other players, so can't be a serious injury. indeed he is. With waigo antonio and gobern
saintsforlife7 Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 And was in West Quay today with Morgan and Waigo and he didn't look to have anything wrong with his eye then either
Jimmy_D Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I bet they were doing something like jumping over rods or running around cones...
Hopkins Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 At around 4pm today I saw him enjoying a cofee with Waigo and Morgan. Nothing wrong with his eye sight then.
Window Cleaner Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 At around 4pm today I saw him enjoying a cofee with Waigo and Morgan. Nothing wrong with his eye sight then. The francophone clan sticking together then.
Wes Tender Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 (edited) I bet they were doing something like jumping over rods or running around cones... This wasn't him by any chance? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4838562.Trapped_penis_cut_free_by_grinder/?ref=mr They obviously couldn't admit what the real injury was. CB Fry Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Thank god we've still got Sir Clive's eye-gym over at Staplewood. It'll be up and running in no time. PS - Have we still got the eye-gym?
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 At around 4pm today I saw him enjoying a cofee with Waigo and Morgan. Nothing wrong with his eye sight then. And this morning at about 2.30am I saw all three of them coming out of Oceana, the nightclub, in town. Jaidi looked fine.
Smirking_Saint Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 And this morning at about 2.30am I saw all three of them coming out of Oceana, the nightclub, in town. Jaidi looked fine. Tut tut, on a thursday ?? Surely your shelf stacking expertise will be seriously knocked by your lack of sleep ??
Leslie Charteris Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Oh dear, I despair sometimes at the lack of focus of some people on here!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Tut tut, on a thursday ?? Surely your shelf stacking expertise will be seriously knocked by your lack of sleep ?? Don't worry about me mate, I don't have work today! Thursday is student night of course
Smirking_Saint Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I remember those nights back in my barton peveril days
sussexsaint Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Are you sure it wasn't someone just trying to pronounce his surname
sussexsaint Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 So will he look like Howard from the Halifax advert at the next game then?
Bad Wolf Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 They'll have to keep an eye on him then and see how it clears up. Eye cerainly hope he's back in time for Millwall as I can't see us winning up there without him, with him the playoffs are in sight. He's an important part of our team ya see.
Ponty Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 So will he look like Howard from the Halifax advert at the next game then? Specs so. Argh, shoot me now. Please.
hamster Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 It's all becoming a lot schlera now. I also hear that whilst at the hospital he tripped and fell into the lens griding machine and made a spectacle of himself. Also a couple of Pompey fans gave him a bit of abuse so he lashed out and punctum both. And before he went into to Oceana last night he went to the cinema and watched Couching Tiger, sleeping Dragon (or whatever it's called). Jokes in BLUE for the hard of thinking. You'd never guess that mrs h works in the eye unit would you? And fwiw I did ask mrs h to phone work and check out the OP's story but she says that would be way too unprofessional. I will work on her though. All those in favour of locking this thread say 'eye'
lettuce Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 Are you sure it wasn't someone just trying to pronounce his surname lol
CWD Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I just bumped into him at the opticians - in fact i bumped into everyone
suewhistle Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I bet they were doing something like jumping over rods or running around cones... Oooh, technical pun...
Jonnyboy Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I heard the whole thing was a case of Blink and you'd miss it.
SNSUN Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 I'd give the guilty player 50 lashes if I were the gaffer. Definitely some pretty low-brow humour on this thread.
Viking Warrior Posted 8 January, 2010 Posted 8 January, 2010 These eye jokes are becoming corn ea by the minute.
