Benj540 Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 Don't they say the first 6 or so days are the hardest? Once you conquer that you're free with a little bit of will power.

Master Bates Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 I'm still off the weed, know I won't be able to give up cigs yet.
Dog Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 I was until last night....bumped into my mate the geordie and a packet of Regals.
View From The Top Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 I stopped 15 years or so ago. The 1st week was the hardest by far!
Scudamore Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 Worst time to give up really i think. Too many give up smoking adverts on tv. Which of course makes you think about smoking...
Saint Mikey Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 Don't they say the first 6 or so days are the hardest? Once you conquer that you're free with a little bit of will power. You don't smoke do you. The worst time is after a few beers as willpower goes out the window. This will stay with you for years and years. I know people who have given up for 20 odd years and still say they fancy one after a couple of beers...I managed to give up for about 18 months, but got tripped up by beers.

Rory Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 I gave up fags and I find it much more comfortable sitting down these days.

Give up beer as well and you'll know true misery.
CB Saint Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 Give up beer as well and you'll know true misery. Doing this for January - utter utter ****e.
Redbul Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 It was six years on the 1st of January. Don't like the smell of a lit cigarette and I really don't miss them. Honestly I don't. But I still love the smell of an unlit cig and I still like to roll them.
Kaiser Soze Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 sorry should read: I've given up giving up.
Jillyanne Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 I was six years on the 1st of January. Far too young to have an opinion really;).
