Hope so, i did not want to get in to that new year day thing so i quit sep 1st 2009 after 38 years. If only i did it sooner oh well...Good luck

Don't they say the first 6 or so days are the hardest? Once you conquer that you're free with a little bit of will power.

 

You don't smoke do you. The worst time is after a few beers as willpower goes out the window. This will stay with you for years and years. I know people who have given up for 20 odd years and still say they fancy one after a couple of beers...I managed to give up for about 18 months, but got tripped up by beers.

It was six years on the 1st of January.

 

Don't like the smell of a lit cigarette and I really don't miss them. Honestly I don't. But I still love the smell of an unlit cig and I still like to roll them.
