Exeter & Luton

Bristol Rovers and Yeovil are closest to a derby game in League One for Exeter. Southampton would be next and hence why it was a Boxing day game(FL like close matches on boxing day)

Close for them, as you say probably their third or fourth closest obviously not for us hence the fact we were at home. If we were asked to travel 114 miles on Boxing Day when we had 10 other games much closer some fans may rightly have had something to moan about.

That is irrelevant.

For Luton although it is closer than Exeter there are alot more clubs closer to it(London etc) than Southampton.

Do you mean to say that they can't arrange local-derby cup games at the start of the season?

Ah, but you're talking post M1 extension and have still taken no account of the M25 widening...

Luton's natural rival is Watford.

Our natural rival in this league is Exeter.

Next year it will be Pompey again, assuming they are not out of business altogether... ;)

Really?? Surely Swindon or Brighton for this season. Pompey next year? How come? Are they expected to drop 2 leagues then??

Oh, and Pompey are being relegated (or made bust in which case cheerio John and you know what you can do with that fecking bell) and we are being promoted.
