Saint_clark Posted 4 January, 2010 Posted 4 January, 2010 ´ Are you just guessing those figures ? Or are you ITK ; ) Only people who work at the club are ITK. Some people know those people who are ITK, however.
Genk Posted 4 January, 2010 Posted 4 January, 2010 We need either Ward or another CB in in time for Hudderfield on Saturday. Huge huge game and we need something out of it.
saint1977 Posted 4 January, 2010 Posted 4 January, 2010 We need either Ward or another CB in in time for Hudderfield on Saturday. Huge huge game and we need something out of it. Totally agree, need Ward and say Barnard as well for Hudds, Millwall and Swindon games.
Tac-tics Posted 4 January, 2010 Author Posted 4 January, 2010 Depends where you work!! I work in what I would call a resourceful surroundings.
saintrich Posted 4 January, 2010 Posted 4 January, 2010 (edited) How many of Barnards goals have been penalties? Edit: 4 Edited 4 January, 2010 by saintrich
SaintRobbie Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 Funny you should say that, I heard a dog up our street barking earlier, it was a sort of " DIOUF DIOUF " Ej Haj perhaps? I went to the zoo and I swear the lion there said 'Roar..y'... Delap?!
sandwichsaint Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 I went to the zoo and I swear the lion there said 'Roar..y'... Delap?! I goosed a bird at the office works do and she said, "Get your hands off my higgin bottom", at least I think she said 'higgin'.
opthomps Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 With Liebherr at the helm I thought we might consider a return for the only player who shares a name with a religious newspaper... the 'Christian Dailly' Terrible I know

benjii Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 It's more an alternative to The Christian Daily than an actual football player.
trousers Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 It's more an alternative to The Christian Daily than an actual football player. Is it Big Jugs Monthly?
madruss Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 Moose arm p*ss painting ??? He's a RB, you not heard of him then!!
Alright Dave Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 With Liebherr at the helm I thought we might consider a return for the only player who shares a name with a religious newspaper... the 'Christian Dailly' Terrible I know A useless FYI, but his nickname early in his career was Parish Magazine
trousers Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 The post "Moose Arm P*ss Painting" on a thread entitled "Lee Barnard" on the SaintsWeb Forum. What were the odds on that this time yesterday?
benjii Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 I know. I do bring a sizzling unpredictability and excitement to this place.
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 He's a RB, you not heard of him then!! Any good ??
madruss Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 Any good ?? Nah, **** poor. Lacks **** Can't **** for **** Weak in the tackle ....it's ok I've stopped now:(
Scudamore Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 Just realised a bird i've nobbed once or twice is friends with Lee Barnard on facebook. This practically makes me ITK.
Jimmy Gabriel's Halo Posted 5 January, 2010 Posted 5 January, 2010 Just realised a bird i've nobbed once or twice is friends with Lee Barnard on facebook. This practically makes me ITK. That's no way to talk about your wife.....
Tac-tics Posted 5 January, 2010 Author Posted 5 January, 2010 it was'nt news, just some lardarse spouting his mouth off at the work place, should'nt have made a thread to be honest.
trousers Posted 6 January, 2010 Posted 6 January, 2010 Great. Another 12 minutes of my life down the pan
Tac-tics Posted 6 January, 2010 Author Posted 6 January, 2010 Please lock as I've just realised who the matey gobbing it off was and trust me, he believes his own ****. saying that, Barnard will join tomorrow & I'll look even more a mong.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 "and from a different source is that a bid for Lee Barnard had been made not 100% on this one." Tac-tics mentioned this about Barnard yesterday. Anyone else heard anything? Would be a good signing if true, IMO.
RonManager Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 weird one you are. LOL with TacTics. Keep up the good work, much appreciated. :smt023:D
Scudamore Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 weird one you are. weird one i am... how's that Ward deal coming along?
thorpie the sinner Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 weird one i am... how's that Ward deal coming along? FWIW, still think this deal is happening!!!
eelpie Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 There seems to have been a few bits of info to different people saying the same sort of thing for the same money, i definately think this one has legs. Sounds more like headless chicken rumours. They have legs too, lol.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 We've had a bid of £200k accepted by Southend, according to the Mirror.
Pilchards Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 We've had a bid of £200k accepted by Southend' date=' according to the Mirror.[/quote'] It's a funny one this, if we got him for 3 million all the saints fans would think 'bloody hell this is good' but if we get him for 200k then you think he must be ****e then ;-) For 200k I really can't see why Southend would sell him that cheaply.
S-Clarke Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 We've had a bid of £200k accepted by Southend' date=' according to the Mirror.[/quote'] interesting, weren't they the first paper to report the bid we had accepted for Fonte?
krissyboy31 Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 For 200k I really can't see why Southend would sell him that cheaply. Me neither! I know they need the cash but £200k is peanuts for a proven goal scorer, even at this level! Must be BS!!
SNSUN Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 I'd be happy with that, although I do hope we can still bring in a pacy striker to truly compliment Lambert. I get the feeling Connolly will miss more games than he plays this season, though I hope I'm wrong.
S-Clarke Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Me neither! I know they need the cash but £200k is peanuts for a proven goal scorer, even at this level! Must be BS!! don't think it is, southend's local rag came out saying they'd set a price of 200k a few months back.
SuperSAINT Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 interesting, weren't they the first paper to report the bid we had accepted for Fonte? Not sure - I thought it was that local London website, who's name escapes me at the moment.
hypochondriac Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Would be a decent signing. Add Stock before the end of the window and maybe one more and I would be happy. Still sad we went for Seaborne over Ward though.
Third Division South Days Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 It's a funny one this, if we got him for 3 million all the saints fans would think 'bloody hell this is good' but if we get him for 200k then you think he must be ****e then ;-) For 200k I really can't see why Southend would sell him that cheaply. Must be because he's out of contract in summer.
saintsforlife7 Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 I know he's not overly mobile, but he'd be a cracking signing at this level. Maybe even perfect to play with Lambo as he likes a long range shot or two, maybe Barnard can go and win the ball for him to shoot long range and poach in the box when he needs to. Which is what we're missing when Connolly doesn't play?
alpine_saint Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 We've had a bid of £200k accepted by Southend' date=' according to the Mirror.[/quote'] Sounds far too low.
Tac-tics Posted 19 January, 2010 Author Posted 19 January, 2010 £200k is their asking price. I will LOL if this end up happening.
trousers Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 Erm....perhaps this is the reason for the cheap price tag.... http://www.shrimperzone.com/vb/showthread.php?t=57546 http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/theblues/4855588.Barnard_suffers_ankle_injury/?ref=rss

BARCELONASAINT Posted 19 January, 2010 Posted 19 January, 2010 He's a proven goalscorer at this level and must be half decent as his was on Spurs books prior to joining Southend. His contract expires this year and it makes sense for them to sell him now when its obvious the lad will walk for nothing if they dont. Whether he comes to us or not is a different question all together. Would like us to add at least an attacking/creative midfielder and a striker in this window and Barnard wouldn't be a bad start!
