Let me explain, I have some hardware that only runs on XP but I only have Vista and Apple Mac laptops which don't allow the hardware to work at all.

Tried doing a virtual PC on the mac and Vista but it never worked as it would not take the XP disk I put in.

Please can someone help me install XP on the Vista BUT keep all my documents on it which means no format job.

cheers anyone.

Or upgrade to Windows 7 which incorporates XP Mode. (So long as you have a processor which is capable of virualization)
