Legod Second Coming Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 yes but I don't shave my legs! Nor do most of the others these days!!!
carljack Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 having more check ups but back in training He is in Sweden at the Moment!
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 been back training, returning for another check up and hoping to be in contention for Saturday is my understanding.
Nexstar Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Back in training whilst travelling to sweden? Impressive.
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 he returned to training yesterday and was ok but is going to Sweden for a check up today and hopes to play Saturday - sorry if wasn't clear Carljack and Nexstar
derry Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 (edited) Svennson did train yesterday and looked ok. He went to Gothenburg for his check up today. JP/OS Edited 16 September, 2008 by derry
derry Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 thought today, but thanks You were spot on.
ottery st mary Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 I am a great fan as many other supporters. Let us hope it all goes well in Gothenburg and he is available again soon if really able. The worry is he does not want to end up snookered for the rest of his life as I have seen too many who have played one or two games too many and as much as he wants it he should take good advice for his own welfare. We all wish him well.
carljack Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Svennson did train yesterday and looked ok. He went to Gothenburg for his check up today. JP/OS Sorry guys do not read the OS as it is full of BS,he told me last week he was going to see the man he trusts in Sweden to get it double checked on Monday, I just hope its not the end! SAINT TILL I DIE!

trousers Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 If true then lol@alpine. Don't count one's chickens quite yet sir. There is usually a second wave of false hope in every such story of Saints player injury woe before the final moment of doom wipes it's feet on the doormat of inevitability.
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 (edited) no-one is guaranteeing he will be fine, certainly not me but hope so -just going on info rather, that has been fairly consistent - he is still feeling it to some degree, not 100%, got bit sore after some weight training -generally been fine after games. I would not be surprised if it went but truly hope it won't - and there is nothing to say it has. There is nothing to say this is really worrying, the people in the know don't seem to be -more just cautious. He is not in agony after every game, a cripple or deluding himself so lets not write him off. Fingers crossed. Edited 16 September, 2008 by NickG

SAINT TILL I DIE! On the 11th the OS said Monday but JP said he trained yesterday, was ok and his appointment is today. Either way he's had his check up.
Aardvark Posted 17 September, 2008 Posted 17 September, 2008 I hope you're not all expecting Svennson to be our rescuing "knight in shining armour" - he was unbelievably poor against Blackpool. But then what do I know? I appear to be the only person who thinks that McGoldrick had quite a good game on Sunday! (awaits hail of abuse!!)
