I am a great fan as many other supporters. Let us hope it all goes well in Gothenburg and he is available again soon if really able.

The worry is he does not want to end up snookered for the rest of his life as I have seen too many who have played one or two games too many and as much as he wants it

he should take good advice for his own welfare.

We all wish him well.

If true then lol@alpine.

Don't count one's chickens quite yet sir. There is usually a second wave of false hope in every such story of Saints player injury woe before the final moment of doom wipes it's feet on the doormat of inevitability.

no-one is guaranteeing he will be fine, certainly not me but hope so -just going on info rather, that has been fairly consistent - he is still feeling it to some degree, not 100%, got bit sore after some weight training -generally been fine after games.

I would not be surprised if it went but truly hope it won't - and there is nothing to say it has.

There is nothing to say this is really worrying, the people in the know don't seem to be -more just cautious.

He is not in agony after every game, a cripple or deluding himself so lets not write him off.

Fingers crossed.

On the 11th the OS said Monday but JP said he trained yesterday, was ok and his appointment is today. Either way he's had his check up.

I hope you're not all expecting Svennson to be our rescuing "knight in shining armour" - he was unbelievably poor against Blackpool. But then what do I know? I appear to be the only person who thinks that McGoldrick had quite a good game on Sunday! (awaits hail of abuse!!)
