Arizona Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 You have to feel sorry for the Luton fans. They live in Luton.
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 You have to feel sorry for the Luton fans. They live in Luton. lol Double subs for Luton
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Lallana should have scored after 15 seconds and then again feck could have scored twice while waiting for the forum to let me make another post
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Antonio nearly scores after 15 secs and then Lambo and Antonio both missed with air kicks from a Lalana cross. Good start
.comsaint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Luton still posing a real threat. Come on Saints...
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Jesus we are poor at times luckily not as poor as the Skates at the mo
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Luton's subs causing consternation in the commentary box ... Claude Gnakpa and Mark Nwogeji both involved alot already Luton have 2 good shots, 2nd one a great save by Davis. Spiderman trie to break his duck but into the wrong goal, luckily his header went wide;)
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 More Luton pressure ... ends with a poor corner.
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Lallana dribbles across the box but could'nt squeeze off a shot.
dune Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Saints are all over them. It's only a matter of time before we get the 2nd goal.
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Think we should rename this the expat thread. Good job Lallana didn't convert that golden goal chance. Luton miss three sitters What's going on?
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Saints are all over them. It's only a matter of time before we get the 2nd goal. Sounds like we are leaving the back door wide open again though.
Under Weststand Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Luton miss a sitter low cross missed by 2 players & then follow up blazzed over Wake the F**K up Saints
maxi_sopez Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 the solent commentary is on a real delay....5live just said about a massive luton chance and then i heard it on solent
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 they should have equalised, missed 3 sitters. LOL at the tater .... Not once, not twice but Three gilt edged misses Brett scores again for Blackpool.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 A full strengh Saints side getting a football lesson by Luton!
Tac-tics Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Concerned Luton are competing as well as they are at St.Marys
Shroppie Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Sounds like we are leaving the back door wide open again though. Thomas + Perry = Trouble.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 the solent commentary is on a real delay....5live just said about a massive luton chance and then i heard it on solent Probably a differnt chance - they have had a few now
Leicestersaint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 It sounds like half the side are still in the dressing room - we seem awfully sluggish.
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Wotton time methinks 4-5-1 Antonio or Papa has to go we getting run ragged
Leicestersaint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Saints are all over them. It's only a matter of time before we get the 2nd goal. Sorry but which commentary are you listening to??
.comsaint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Jaidi, Hammond & Connelly all missing (the spine of the side) and it's showing up our frailties somewhat...
alpine_saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Sounds like we are leaving the back door wide open again though. Come on, its a universal constant that Saints have a sh*t defence. As much as e=mc2. And Trotman going back hasnt helped.
Shroppie Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Wotton time methinks 4-5-1 Antonio or Papa has to go we getting run ragged Agreed. Need some control.
Leicestersaint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Wakey wakey Saints - too sluggish. (That should do the trick).
hypochondriac Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Come on, its a universal constant that Saints have a sh*t defence. As much as e=mc2. And Trotman going back hasnt helped. We will buy some quality.
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Ah of course, saw that coming, we're getting run ragged so we're briinging on Patterson
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Sorry but which commentary are you listening to?? Probably a big time delay ...wait till he gets past the first minute of the 2nd half Sounds like Paterson coming on.
alpine_saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 We will buy some quality. Really hope you are right, and AP has been tracking someone for some time. We must get rid of this loan dependency.
Shroppie Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 We will buy some quality. Shows how fragile we are. Take out Jaidi, Trotman, Connolly and we look ordinary.
Arizona Posted 2 January, 2010 Author Posted 2 January, 2010 Wotton time methinks 4-5-1 Antonio or Papa has to go we getting run ragged Nooooooooooooooooooo... please. We should be telling them to wake up and take teams like Luton to the cleaners. Sitting back, defending a 1-0 lead and hoofing it up to Lambert is a) Asking for trouble b) Terrible to watch. c) Far from playing to our strengths d) Bad for moral, especially if we let one in.

Yep, really a performance to clam the nerves after the Colchester match..
hypochondriac Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Really hope you are right, and AP has been tracking someone for some time. We must get rid of this loan dependency. Trotman really wasn't that good and wasn't even in the first team towards the end of the loan. I imagine Pardew had some in mind should we not be able to keep Trotman and even if we did keep him because we need cover.
ericofarabia Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Probably a big time delay ...wait till he gets past the first minute of the 2nd half Sounds like Paterson coming on. Attack ... the best form of defence .... Antonio going off .... should have been Perry
manzo Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Shows how fragile we are. Take out Jaidi, Trotman, Connolly and we look ordinary. Erm, are there any Division Three sides that you could take three starters out and they wouldn't look ordinary?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Preston 6 Colchester 0 Didnt we just lose to the U's? Ooops
Saint Without a Halo Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Does Merry Merrington ever say antything but the bl**ding obvious! "Saints need a second goal" "if Luton score it will get tough"
dubai_phil Posted 2 January, 2010 Posted 2 January, 2010 Nooooooooooooooooooo... please. We should be telling them to wake up and take teams like Luton to the cleaners. Antonio off so we'll see if he can help us keep the ball or if we needed some help to get it

I agree but in the scheme of things it's not terribly important.
