NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 injury sounds pretty bad -shame he was looking better than a lot predicted.
Shroppie Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Would like to see McGoldrick played wide and John or Pekhart up front whilst Holmes is out.
Legod Second Coming Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Feck - his delivery is excellent. That is a real blow... Get well soon Lee.
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 Rudi time then that's got a ring to it!
Shroppie Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Rudi time then If it is Rudi, hope he plays LB and Surman gets a chance in midfield
Long Shot Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 A message to you Rudi Stop your messing around
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 was starting to be a key player for us, hopefully will be sooner than predicted.
chivvy1664 Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Skacel in the role. I think surman wouldnt be effective.
alpine_saint Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 I reckon we should be grateful its two months and not the whole season - the initial impression was he'd done his ligaments
Big Ron fan Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Feck - his delivery is excellent. That is a real blow... Get well soon Lee. Disagree. Exactly how many times has he found any of our players with a cross? Very few. He hits lots of balls to no-one. I wish him well in recovering from injury, but I really think he is over-rated.
NickG Posted 16 September, 2008 Author Posted 16 September, 2008 think he has played pretty well and was getting better.
saint_stevo Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Big Ron, you are talking tripe, our most (with Llalana) consistent player
Big Ron fan Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Big Ron, you are talking tripe, our most (with Llalana) consistent player Consistently good, poor or average? I recognise I am in a minority on this issue and will be delighted to be proven wrong over the season.
saintrich Posted 16 September, 2008 Posted 16 September, 2008 Disagree. Exactly how many times has he found any of our players with a cross? Very few. He hits lots of balls to no-one. Probably because Our only striker (who should be in the box attacking crosses) McGoldrick is usually bimbling towards the edge of the box, when a decent cross comes in.

I do recognise this issue, but the fact is it's a waste of time hitting balls into the box when there is no-one there!

I disagree, vs Birmingham and Blackpool in particular he whipped ball after ball into dangerous areas, just nobody had made the runs required.
