saint_stevo Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 It seems, probably just as caretaker though...... Bolton fans get what they wanted....
Hatch Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Wigley!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Talk about out of the frying pan and into the biggest erupting volcano in the world.
Hatch Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 oh,, and Mourinho to Bolton in the summer. With World Cup winning Capello as his assistant.
saint_stevo Posted 30 December, 2009 Author Posted 30 December, 2009 he has by all accounts done a decent job IMO
RedAndWhite91 Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Sacked? How ridiculous. Wigley is no way a better manager than Megson. Bolton fans are fickle, their chairman is deluded. Stupidity.
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Wigley...lol Now now. For all you know he has quietly been learning his trade ever since he left Saints, and he may well go on top become a very successful manager with Bolton. There again, he may well fail spectacularly and get them relegated. It's hard to say really.
bridge too far Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Wigley...lol As a temporary measure as he is first team coach. I doubt it's a permanent appointment.
Thedelldays Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 darren ferguson is bookies fav at the mo some bolton fans want alan shearer curbishley would be a good bet, but he likes the south
S-Clarke Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Not surprised in the slightest, he was a dead man walking last night - his position became untenable. He's not done a bad job, but his position was always on a knife-edge as Bolton fans never really wanted him in the first place.
SuperMikey Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Megson has taken Bolton down from the top half side that they were under Big Sam and turned them into bottom half strugglers. He's tactically inept, no charisma, no personality and his players don't seem to have a shred of motivation left in them. I think they've been punching above their weight since Big Sam left, and unless they get a good manager in with a good premiership pedigree (i'm thinking David O'Leary), they'll find themselves a couple of divisions down before they know it. Here's hoping they appoint a new manager quickly before Wigley can do too much damage to their team though!
Arizona Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Pardew to Bolton. There, I've said it, now nobody else needs to mention it.
ottery st mary Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 To be fair to Pards...He has a job to do here and in anycase he is waiting for Sir Alex to move over.
stevegrant Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 darren ferguson is bookies fav at the mo some bolton fans want alan shearer curbishley would be a good bet, but he likes the south Curbishley still can't take another job yet as he still hasn't negotiated his West Ham payoff.
saint_bert Posted 30 December, 2009 Posted 30 December, 2009 Pardew to Bolton. There, I've said it, now nobody else needs to mention it. 16/1 so say SSN
