No thread for this so here it is.

Day 4 morning session, England currently 505-6 with a lead of 162. Just Prior gone this morning for 60. Bell has 114 & Broad at the crease now with him on 9.

All in all England in a very good position to win this match.

Broad's playing very strangely when you consider the position of the match and how well he can strike the ball. Hopefully someone will take him aside o'er the cucumber sandwiches and tell him to get a shift on. We could still win this if he doesn't fanny around.

What would everyone consider to be a decent lead? The BBC commentators are saying 250, think I'd feel safer with nearer 300 myself. We only need another 80 for 250 lead & 130 for a 300 lead. If we can get a move on after lunch this should be doable by tea, then declare & give ourselves 4 sessions to bowl them out & if needs be chase a small total tomorrow evening.

I think 250 would be ample, nobody's scored with any great fluency on this pitch. It's more a matter of time. We need to leave ourselves plenty of time to have a decent crack at them. That's why I feel Broad needs to **** or get off the pot. The last thing we need is him running in tired after three hours of turgid blocking.

Ok, thanks for letting us know.

Take care crossing that busy road and don't speak to strangers.

And drink sensibly.

See you in an hour.

You're wasting your breath, Ron. He'll be in no condition to respond when he gets back.
