Personally I would b very worried if the management changed their plans for the January transfer window based on one football match and one defeat. Pardew is bot stupid and the changes he has in mind will not have changed based one one football match.

 

Which is fortunately not what I was suggesting. I was suggesting the result could re-focus their thoughts in certain areas. A subtle shift in thinking rather than 'completely changing their plans'.

No we don't. We need to do 10 points better than one of those half a dozen teams, as well as bettering any of the other 6 teams between us and the play offs, not impssible, but becoming more and more unlikely as the season goes on.
