Would signings in January strengthen the team or upset the balance?

No DD, but we were playing like crap then so that's not really the point I'm trying to make is it?

 

But it is a point that is more relevant! Because the balance we have at the present is not good enough for the play off's. I think that it is imperative our current balance be corrected. As Pardew does not seem to be able to do that with the current squad, get a shed load in for him to fiddle around with in the hope we can find that correct balance.

 

Alternatively he could revert to the players and formation that got us out of the crap in the first place, but that does not appear to be an option any more?

Not sure any of them really belong to the Skates though! If we paid for them we would probably find their real owners wanting them back!

 

That can't happen. If Saints brought them then they would be Saints players. Pompey would still be responsible for their debt to the original club.
