Hi, Colchester fan here. When I got my ticket last week, they said you'd sold 1,500 out of the 1,900 odd you've got. Don't know how many you might have sold yesterday though.

I have just spoken to Colchester Utd and there are 400-500 tickets available from 10am (ish) at their ground tomorrow.
nice one.

Is it just me or is it almost impossible to find away ticket information on the Saints website other than the original news item when they were first released - I can't find that for Colchester game actually?

Cheers Bungle, not sure how long before the game I'll be able to get there but hopefully should be able to grab one.

My understanding is that all unsold tickets at Saints on Xmas Eve, were sent back to Colchester to Sell on the day.

However you have to buy at the away ticket office, to get an actual ticket, there is no cash payment at the Turnstile.

However it would be worth phoning CUFC to confirm this...

can't see 500 going up without tickets. Its a long old treck and the M25 could be a nightmare around bluewater

Yeahh I thought that too. I'm definitely going to the game, going up on a mini bus, just have to try to convince them to leave the pub 5 minutes early. Worst comes to worst I'll have to sit in the home end. Sure I'll be alright though.

when you say away ticket office do you mean at SFCs ticket office or at CUFCs ticket office?

Hi,

Well as the tickets got sent back to Colchester on Christmas Eve, I assume they mean CUFCs ...

Remember that Liverpool Street Station is closed, so onward journey to Colchester by train will be difficult.

Explained here :

I would normally go by train but I'm going to take the car this time.

So why is it that to find anything out that you need to know you check the Saints Web because the OS is so ****e!!....

Also if you are expecting a 30 000 bumper crowd on boxing day, why would you send the fecking spare tickets back on christmas eve, leaving sensible people who have held off buying due to the poor weather forecast having to search high and low on the less than adequate OFFICIAL site???

can mr luker's spy try to get some answers please

my thoughts exactly - with a crowd of 30k in SMS you would expect to sell a couple of hundred Colchester tickets to people who hadn't made their mind up till that day, or didn't want to risk having the tickets posted out earlier. I still don't understand why they told me tickets would NOT be available on the day, when from what Bungle's posted, they clearly will be - well done Bungle for finding that out.

I thought we had turned the corner with the club getting a closer connection with us fans, but it seems they still play there silly games in the ticket office. You would think the club would want as many of us there today???? i just dont get it.........
