Has anyone used these, are they effective, easy to set up etc?

We tend to stay in hotels that charge silly prices £15 an hour so was thinking of getting one for these stays and when we visist MIL.

 

O2 doing them for £15 at the moment.

Im using one right now-Best to go with T-MOBILE, Dongle in asda for £22

 

£15 a month top up when needed, gives you 2gb fair use policy(DOWNLOADS -EG WATCHING VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS, MUSIC ), PLUS UNLIMITED WEB BROWSING, (facebook,saintsfc,etc etc)

 

Best deal ive found at the moment any way,

 

And signal is good with HSPDA in my area

If you have Virgin Media broadband at home you can get one of their 3G dongles for £5 a month (well, that was the offer a few months ago, which I assume is still going on).

My mate had one with T mobile...did not cost that much to buy (something like £20) and got the first 30 days for £2

 

usually it is something like 7 days for £7 or 30 days for £15

 

reception on then seem ok for browsing etc unlimited

Check that there isnt an expiry date for you to use your dongle credit.

 

With most, if you put say £10 on there, it runs out after 30 days.

 

There is a company (dont know who) that offers an unlimited amount of time for you to use your credit.
