Tac-tics Posted 21 December, 2009 Share Posted 21 December, 2009 Need help, my old man has gotten into photography with-in the last two years. I have given him some money towards a lense he would like, I would also like to get him a photography folder/showcase book. Where's the best place to look? Would like a decent one to but not a 100% sure where to look.
Al de Man Posted 21 December, 2009 Share Posted 21 December, 2009 How do you mean? Something like a coffee table book with his own photos? I've had a couple from Photobox and the quality was mediocre, looking more like the output from a colour laser printer than an actually prints, but they were only about £20 each with a hardback cover. Cewe, Blurb, Bob Books and Apple are at the same end of the market, although I've not had anything from them. If you want to go upmarket, consider, Loxley Colour or Graphistudio. I have a sample album from Graphistudio and it's top notch, but it's the sort of thing that wedding photographers use so expect the cost to run in the hundreds. To give you an idea of the quality, it comes in it's own briefcase.
