Only seen him on the cricket pitch Tim,he's a very good batsman and a lovely lad too...always smiling.Very popular with us at Locks Heath. Who was the last double barrelled name player for Saints? Forbes Phillipson-Masters?

Then If you want a first team player, how about Bradley Wright-Phillips?

macthesaint Posted 17 December, 2009 Posted 17 December, 2009 How could i have forgotten Bradley?! Doh!
corsacar saint Posted 17 December, 2009 Posted 17 December, 2009 A mate of mine[ Big Saints fan] is scouting for that mob down the road. He is scouting the juniors. However he has watched our youth team a couple of times, and says Chamberlains nipper is far and away the best youth team player ,currently playing at our club.

Doesn't count, the question was about the last double-barrelled named player BWP was not a player, and anyway he was triple barrelled, Bradley Wight-Phillips-Offside

Badger Posted 17 December, 2009 Posted 17 December, 2009 Despite the veiled references I'm uncertain as to who Oxlade-Chamberlain is actually playing for, us presumably ? As for double barrelled names do David F'kin-McGoldrick, or Callum Bastard-Davenport count ?

BILLY Posted 17 December, 2009 Posted 17 December, 2009 For what its worth the lad use to go the same school in Southsea as my kids - St Johns College. My two girls are still there. It may be in the heart of the Portsmouth but both the heads of the upper and lower schools are Saints fans. Every time we go in we go in we always chat about footie. There is always Saints mention going on. Cheers
Chap in the Chapel Posted 18 December, 2009 Posted 18 December, 2009 Great lad - very talented at several sports. Well liked at Locks Heath CC.
John D Posted 18 December, 2009 Posted 18 December, 2009 You would have to mortgage your house for his name on your shirt and be rather large
Foxstone Posted 18 December, 2009 Posted 18 December, 2009 Where's Josh Dutton-Black plying his trade nowadays ?

Saw him in November at Aldershot in the FA Youth Cup. Looked promising – strong and composed on the ball. He played a beautiful defence-splitting pass to set McNish up for one of the Saints goals.

As for double barrelled names do David F'kin-McGoldrick, or Callum Bastard-Davenport count ? Not to mention Jim Forward-Magilton, and there was also the multi-barrelled Ian For-God's-Sake-Head-It-Down-For-Once-Dowie K.
saint_stevo Posted 18 December, 2009 Posted 18 December, 2009 Where's Josh Dutton-Black plying his trade nowadays ? Totton i think
