That got a mini-standing ovation in the Itchen North. At the time I thought their second goal might have been offside just as the ball was played through to Holt. The highlights don't make it clear but it looks borderline.

They were lucky to get away with so much in the game, including the goals. Cant believe norwich tried to imply that the ref was against them and that that was the reason they got so many yellow cards! :mad: It was more about the fact they played like the dirty b*stards they are.....

Just an observation. I didnt see too many full on tackles by our players. There was a couple of times I thought someone would go in for the slide tackle and didnt and I put that down to the yellow cards...

benjii Posted 17 December, 2009 Posted 17 December, 2009 He (referee) was very poor and I think if he looks back over his performance he'll realise how bad he was - and if anyone else sees his performance they'll probably put him down about four leagues. “So hopefully we won't see him again for a long time, hopefully he'll be in the Sunday leagues next week and he'll have to work his way back up. Because, all joking aside, that's how bad his performance was in my eyes. Surely that's worthy of a disciplinary sanction? I think I might email that link to the Football League

If so, ignore me - otherwise it's here Just in case overseas fans think they have seen more or less than the Beeb output, it's exactly the same footage except there is a different announcer to the action, and there are no SKY captions or templates, just full screen action. Shame we can't see all the penalties, as SKY must have shown all the transmission when it was LIVE.
