MK Dons Away Leg First

how would you prove attendance at previous rounds if your not a ST holder? Just bring in the ticket stub when you go to the stadium to buy?

I think everyone who buys a ticket gets added to the database which gives you a customer number and all tickets purchased are linked with that customer number.

I really doubt there will be a problem getting tickets for Wembley if we get there. Say every ST holder gets given two tickets, that would take up about 20,000 of our allocation which should be around 40,000. So loads of tickets left for general sale, I doubt attendance at previous round will even come into it.

I'd guess MK will offer us around 5,000 as it's a cup game and they're never going to get near filling it themselves.

32,000 at St Mary's to see us (try and) reach Wembley? :)

We won't off you anywhere near that amount, and we came close to filling our World Cup bid ( forgive, first oppurtunity to say it) stadium when we played Swansea in said fixture two years ago. (We are currently limited to 17,250 iirc.)

Twas a second leg then that game though, I'd guess our ever efficient (not) B.O would give you guys 3,000. (Expect them to start at about 2,000 and work there way up after being pestered for more)

Normally about 15 -20,000 tickets are held back for sponsors and the like at the JPT final. We were allocated 35k in 2008 and sold out. If anything I'd guess you'd get less (if you get there ;)) because you'd be playing Leeds.

I think 35k is the standard allocation for each club. If a bigger club is playing a club that will not require their full allocation, then more will be made available. IIRC Luton ended up taking 43,000 last season but if the opponents are a club like Leeds (as seems likely), there won't be any extra tickets available, unless the FL/Club Wembley release some of the corporate/sponsors allocation.

OK, looks like some of us will probably have to sit with the home fans ;)

You could always give us all the top tier as you don't use it!

Are you saying we'd get less because Leeds would get a bigger allocation than us?

But you came nowhere near filling it for your play off game last season. Which was a much more important game then this one against Swansea surely?

Can't seem to find figures on bbc website but found attendance quoted as 9757 on this website. Not quite a sell out...

Had asked work for the tues off lol, ah well can easily be changed to the weds. 7pm KO also means getting home a little earlier which is good.

Yep, I reckon half day off work get up to MK about 3-4pm, time for a few beers, game will be over by 8.50pm so allows more flexibility.

According to AA routemaster it 115 miles from Southampton, not great roads, m3, m25, m1, but a good run it wont take that long so would be good to see us take 3k plus. Train not too bad either with an option going via Clapham. Anyone based / working in London it is only 30 mins from Euston and in the Network Card zone.

Also, with this being on sky (plus the Charlton home game in earlier round) should make this cup run quite profitable and help fund more signings in January hopefully. Getting through to the 4th round of the FA Cup will also had more income if we beat Luton.

I think you might be right with that figure if we were playing in the FA Cup final. I'm pretty sure sponsors aren't as forthcoming for the JPT final and therefore will not require or want anywhere near that amount. In past years that would have meant there were more there on sponsors invite than actually supporters from some clubs. Cant foresee much problems getting tickets if we get there.

It is an experiment they are doing. Mid week games would normally finish close to 10pm on a school night. By starting at 7pm it may encourage more parents to bring children to the game.

They should have asked me as I would have told them that IMHO it won't make one bit of difference. I bet I am right too other than possibly a small handful of cases!
