I'd imagine it'll be like in previous rounds they will have a draw live on Sky's Soccer AM program on a Saturday morning.

Of course we want to be home in the 2nd match :)

yep thats right first drawn home first

And there's lots to do in Milton Keynes  I guess counting roundabouts or herding concrete cows could be entertaining...

Hey i was joking! Hence the smiley winky no need for the rolled eyes! :-)

The first leg is played week commencing Jan 18th, and the second leg w/c Feb 15th. Final is on Sun March 28th if anyone wants to book it off work in advance...!

But didn`t they say after the last draw that it was the last time this season they would be doing a draw for the JPT?????

anyone no how and when they decide who plays at home first

Alphabetical order, I believe. Or possibly trial by ordeal.

I don't think they do anything as mad as drawing lots. That would be insane.

acording to the bbc write up, we're in the 'JP Trophy Northern area final.'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8410648.stm

Before the Beeb go and correct their faux pas, and make you look like a twerp, I saw it too.

...Bartosz Bialkowski saved three spot-kicks as Southampton beat Norwich 6-5 in a sudden death penalty shoot-out to make the JP Trophy Northern area final...

Obviously, geographical knowledge is not a requirement for a BBC Sports researcher/reporter.

Nor knowing the difference between white, blond left sided defenders and black, shaven-headed right sided wingers, apparently. Though that was down to the PA announcer, who apparently assigned it to Harding (in line with the penalty spot at the time Waigo lashed home from inside the 6 yard box). It ended up all over the media, too. Kinda harsh on Papa, but fair enough if he's still nicking Lambert's crossbar header...

They were also pretty poor at identifying who exactly got booked online - their site at some point had Holt as having 2 yellows, when rumour has it Martin was booked twice. Then again there WERE two Martins playing...

Then again, it's the JPT, it'll probably be unchanged for years to come.

I'm sure SKY said that Dean Hammond took the 5th and 6th penalties last night.

Area final draw

MK Dons v Southampton w/c Jan 18th

Southampton v MK Dons w/c Feb 15th

Where did you get that from? Good stuff if that's the order.

Excellent away first leg, lets get a result and finish the job at st marys.

Pitch invasion to celebrate getting to wembley ;)

During or after the penalty shoot-out?

I've got a mental picture of some 45 year old, 20 stone, bloke throwing himself at Papa, leaving a Papa shaped dent in the pitch!

a saints V Leeds final would probably draw one of the biggest crowds in the history of the competition

According to Wiki the record attendance for the final is 80,841, for the 1988 Final match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley at Wembley.

JPT, FA Vase etc finals are not included in those season tickets. The tickets will be split about 44/44, with 2k comps going to clubs round the country.

Just need the dates confirmed then! Should be looking to take 2000+ up there, not too far to go and for a pretty important game.

And am I right in saying Season Ticket holders will get 2 tickets each should we reach Wembely? I'm sure I remember reading somewhere if we got to a Cup final Season ticket holders would be rewarded. OR am I just making it up?
