Leeds Away Ticket Info - full allocation taken

just been on the phone to the ticket office, apparently we have roughly 600 left and have sold 1900 for Leeds, not sure how accurate that is. They did say no guarantee tickets will be on sale on the day even if there are some left so definitely worth buying in advance.

Hi yes re pub, sorry for delay in response: Junction 39 come off motor way to roundabout take first exit left and about 200 yards on your right hand side its called the navigation down a side road.

Good Grub Good Ale etc .. quickly back on M1 and traffic permitting 20mins to ground (not sure if you are parking or getting dropped off)

Let me know if you are going..alternatively town centre but like others have said keep away from Holbeck, not worth it after match.

I am in SEL (lower bit of corner), my brother who bought alot earlier is SE1, so I presume we have fully sold that corner apart from the restricted view seats. If we already haev FA2 seats FA1 is probably sold, shame they just didn't give us the end behind the goal instead of most of us being stuck in a corner.

If anyone went down the ground today to get tickets will be interesting to know what block they are up to now.

Just received this from David Luker:

Saints have sold 700 of the original 1100 allocation and have therefore asked for the additional tickets to take our allocation to 1700 for this massive game at Elland Road.

It is unlikely that Saints will receive further tickets unless there is a substantial increase in ticket sales in the next 24-48 hours.

Leeds have set a deadline of 8th December for us to request these additional tickets (taking us to an allocation of 2800) as there is demand from their own fans for these seats.

Should ticket sales be close to 1700 tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon, then we may be able to request the additional tickets from Leeds. If not, we will have to stick with the 1700 already allotted.

Blimey, not as if Leeds is packed out every week at Elland Road is it?

I have a bad feeling that the weather might result in this game being called off. Really hope not though, don't fancy finding out that the game has been abandoned halfway through the journey!

They have a heated pitch so extremly doubtful unless there's 2 feet of snow in the ground or around the car park which the health and safety Police numpties declare as 'danger to fans' ?

Same here mate.

Row D.

How is the weather looking for Friday night / Saturday morning?

I live in Darlington - about an hour and a half north of Leeds. It snowed and settled here earlier this evening, though it was nothing much and hasn't snowed for the last couple of hours. However, the forecast suggests there could be a little more snow tonight.

I've been looking at Weather.co.uk and at the BBC Weather forecast. The forecast is not brilliant I'm afraid, though it could be worse!

The Weather.co.uk forecast suggests it will stay cold tomorrow so the snow on the ground won't melt, though I would think the gritters will have been out so that main roads will all be clear. There is no snow forecast for tomorrow.

Saturday, however, is a different matter... while the morning may be like Friday (very cold but clear) snow is forecast for the afternoon, so we could be watching the match in a blizzard!!

HOWEVER... The BBC forecast is slightly different: It seems to suggest that it could snow a little bit on Friday, with a few occasional snow showers possible on Saturday.

If the Weather.co.uk forecast is right, I am not looking forward to the drive home, but at least it is not too far for me. I am not at all envious of those who have to drive back to Southampton on Saturday evening. It looks like you could be facing snow down as far as about Leicester or Northampton.

Try getting all the way up to Newcastle to discover the game has been called off. That was painful.

Snow was fun though.

I am also thinking that aswell but I'm pretty sure that the game will go ahead as it will be v annoying to get up there and to see the game being called off but I don't think this will happen!

I also use the BBC Weather Site which is Good but I also always read this weather site:

http://www.weatheronline.co.uk which I think is a really Good quite accurate up to date weather site but this is only what I come across!

Yeh I'm going by car along with my brothers sooo the driving should be Fun especially in the snow but we shall see ;)!

this from wiki might reassure you -

The pitch measures approximately 115 yards (105 m) long by 74 yards (68 m) wide, with a few metres run-off space on each side.[23] There is also an under-soil heating system installed beneath the surface, consisting of 59 miles (95 km) of piping.[22] This, together with a good drainage system, means that only heavy fog, a blizzard, or flooding would force the club to cancel a match. There are wells sunk approximately 70 feet (21 m) beneath the West Stand and the North Stand and a pumping system is situated under the South Stand, meaning that Leeds can draw on their own supply of water, should the need arise. However, the first time the club used it, the pitch turned black as the water was too cold.[13]

A bout halfan inch of snow here in Leigh ..... going tohave to try and remember how to get the frost an snow off the car windscreen ... been a while since I had to do it last

Missing Dubai already .... well maybe not :D

It was much easier to wipe the snow off this morning than it's been scraping ice for past few days.

I just called the ticket office to enquire about availability of tickets on the turnstile.

The girl said they are currently not sure if the game is even going to go ahead due to the weather but they wuill know by 5pm today if there will be tickets available on the day provided the game doesn't get called off.

Just a heads up for anybody planning on travelling on the off-chance of getting a tickety on the day.

Well that's annoying. I called at about 5:50 to be told that there will be no sales to visiting fans on the day and that the tickets had been taken off sale at SMS so there is now no way I can get a ticket. I had to wait until today when I got paid, I decided not to buy over the phone this morning in case the game got called off cos of the weather, and now I can't go unless I buy a ticket on the day in the Leeds end, which I'm not sure I want to do.

Still, I seem to be a curse on the team anyway, the only game I have managed to watch all season is the Brighton game and look what happened there!

I'm sure someone on here will have a spare ticket if you keep your eyes peeled :)

I'm after a ticket if there are any spares. I'll be leaving Manchester around midday so will check back here prior to that just in case there are any going.

Otherwise it's "clap in the right places" and "keep my gob shut" in the home section!!

Hmm - that seems like a **** take to me. Looks like Leeds will do anything they can to restrict the number of away fans. Hope we're not getting charged for the non-sold tickets, 'cos if we are, they've got a nerve charging us for tickets we can't then sell on the day of the game.

As the message says, due to family illness one of the Northern Saints now can't go. First to PM me or ring me gets first dibs - £26 face value.

Will be leaving South Manchester around 1, getting to ground around 2ish. Can meet in Manchester or at ground as suits best.

Ticket now spoken for
